Hotel staff were trying to be helpful but not very experienced. The worst part was the receptionist the girl who was the manager attitude was terrible she could not find my booking and was addiment that i did not book i told her i did and later found out that when i called up to book it was booked in for wrong day reception fault no appology was given.The reception manager has very little experience in reception as far as i can tell.The lady who served me breakfast in the morning Lorraine was extremely helpful and lovely.Evening staff were to busy talking round bar area to notice i had been waiting 20 to be seen to and there was only 5 people in restaurant.Overall it was ok but would recommand new reception manager and maybe uniform as the dress sense was quite inapproiate for work.

I had my wedding here and after reading the past reviews i had mixed emotions, however those mixed emotions were disovled by the management as well as the staff. I had THE best wedding you could imagine it was like a fairy tale come true, like my proposal everything about the wedding and the scenario met my expectations. I would truly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to get mariried. Its not often that the bride and groom say thank you to the staff so A GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!! See you on our 1ST anniversary!!

Was working in the area for 4 days and the company booked me in here. It was fantastic, staff were all friendly and the food was out of this world (huge portions). We were on a DBB rate but went into Glasgow 1 night for a break - a great city. I'd be back in a heartbeat hope there is more work up there

Excellent hotel!! Im a regular visitor to this hotel and i must say under the new management there is such a difference. The bedrooms are undergoing a refurbishment but most importantly the customer service speaks for itself. Good food, good service, great location (only took me 10 mins to drive into the glasgow city centre) I would highly recommend this hotel,

Clearly lots of improvements have been completed in the public areas and the bar, restaurant and function room are great. However, bedrooms are a bit dated and whilst clean, furniture and decoration is well worn. Make sure you ask for a room to the rear as the main road at the front is very noisy and the hotel close to the road. Overall a good stay though.
