Spotless modern comfy room, great bathroom. Good TV with decent range of channels. All staff exceptionally helpful, all english-speaking, but that was more than easy for Simon who worked in the bar and breakfast room as he's english! Super guy and very helpful with finding our way around and for ideas on where to go. He speaks spanish as well as he speaks english. Good variety for breakfast. Wifi access in bar/reception area, works out about 5euros for 45 non-consecutive minutes, although we did manage to pick up a signal most days in our room from local networks..although they were slow and unreliable so best to pay for the hotel option. 3mins walk from Brittany Ferries terminal, 1 min bus and train stations. Excellent double glazing in room meant little noise despoite our room overlooking the bus terminals. Hairdryer and aircon. No evening meals but Hotel Bahia 5mins away does a good evening set menu for about 20euros each inc' wine. There's also a chinese opposite the bus station too (on opposite side of road to hotel lobby entrance, about 100 yrs towards train stations), very good decent meal. Lots of cafe's/outdoor eateries nearby and 2mins walk to all the great shops.

Centrally located, overlooking the bus and coach station, and the RENFE and FEVE railway stations. My room had a balcony from which I could look down the street to the Bay of Santander. Even with this location noise was not a problem. The building has recently been completely modernised, with some original features in the reception, bar and dining room. The room style is contemporary. Bathroom was well lit with a large selection of toiletries. Good international buffet breakfast, nicely laid out. Friendly staff at reception and breakfast. BBC and CNN TV

Abba Santander Hotel is in Santander, near the port. It's an old building that have been restaured and now it's a brand new 3 stars hotel. It have 5 floors, with more or less 7 rooms per floor. The 4th floor have smoking rooms and in the 5th floor the rooms are bigger. Confortable and clean, has a normal breakfast. Quite nice. Quality of Abba hotels. Its located near the city bus stop and quite centric for shopping around. If you prefer to be closer to the restaurants and night life activity, this isn't the best choice. And If you're thinking to go to Santander to enjoy the nice beaches, then you need to choose an hotel in Sardinero.

Santander est une ville tout en longueur et le choix de l'emplacement de l'Hotel est important. cet Hotel est situé à proximité de la station d'Autobus ( importants en Espagne) et de la gare ferroviaire mais surtout se situe au centre ville. les restaurants, magasins et les quelques monuments sont donc d'accès facile. Les plages en revanche sont plus éloignées et il vous faudra plus une demie heure environ pour y accèder à pied même si les lignes de bus sont très efficaces pour ce qui concerne l'Hotel, nous y avons été très bien accueillis par un personnel charmant et disponible l'Hotel présente une façade originale et un intérieur récent design et très agréable la propreté y est irréprochable- nous n'avons pas tenté lepetit déjeuner, je pense qu'il est plus interessant d'aller le prendre dans les cafeterias alentour Nous avons passé un très bon séjour Un bémol cependant: il vous faudra surtout demander un étage en hauteur et côté facade arrière sinon vous pâtirez du passage important des automobiles et surtout des Bus...même si le double vitrage est confortable
