Abbiamo prenotato quest’albergo quando siamo arrivati all’aeroporto dove ti fanno uno sconto fino al 70% su determinati hotel. Abbiamo pagato 350 yuan a notte il che equivale a circa €35. Avevano anche degli alberghi meno cari, ma la differenza tra un tre e un quattro stelle era solo di pochi euro, così abbiamo scelto il Bai Ling dato che volevamo stare vicini al fiume. Quando prenotate potete scegliere tra una camera con vista sul fiume e una con vista sulla città; anche se la camera che guarda sulla città costa 325 yuan non prendetela e invece scegliete quella che guarda sul fiume. Di notte la vista delle barche tutte illuminate che passano e degli hotel con le loro luci e laser show è semplicemente incredibile. La camera era ultra moderna e aveva un letto circolare tipo Austin Power, un divano lussuoso e un tavolo da pranzo con sedie (non che avrete mai bisogno di queste ultime). La metropolitana e tutti i migliori ristoranti cantonesi distano 10 minuti a piedi. Se volete andare a Hong Kong, prendete il traghetto il quale costa 130 yuan; c’è anche un servizio di navetta gratuito per il porto. Il catamarano è molto veloce e impiega circa due ore ad arrivare; la vista durante il viaggio è incredibile. All’arrivo vi troverete vicino all’MTR.

stayed there for 4 nights during the canton fair. Its a difficult hotel to find. A hotel of many names (silver bay, bai ling, white collar). A good 20 minute walk from the nearest metro only if you're going in the right direction. The rooms were actually quite nice. The staff however were quite the opposite. Unfortunately for me i didn't speak canton or mandarin and they barely spoke english. Breakfast was basic. For the money you can do better. Not in a great area at night.

Sie hatten billigere Hotels, aber der Unterschied zwischen 3 und 4 Sternen betrug nur ein paar Pfund, entscheiden Sie sich als für dieses Hotel, wenn Sie in Flussnähe sein wollen. Sie können zwischen Flussblick und Stadtblick wählen, wenn Sie buchen, der Stadtblick kostete 325Yuan/Nacht, aber bemühen Sie sich nicht, nehmen Sie den Flussblick! Sie werden abends erstaunt sein, wenn die beleuchteten Boote vorbeifahren und die Hotels ihre Lichter- und Lasershows veranstalten. Das Zimmer war ultramodern mit einem Rundbett im Stil von Austin Powers, einem Plüschsofa und einem Esstisch mit Stühlen (nicht, dass man das je brauchen würde). 10 Gehminuten bis zur U-Bahn und einem kantonesischen Toprestaurant. Wenn Sie von hier nach Hongkong fahren, nehmen Sie die Fähre für 130Yuan mit kostenlosem Shuttleservice zum Hafen, ein sehr schneller Katamaran braucht etwa 2 Stunden und bietet ein fantastische Aussicht, und der Ausstieg zur U-Bahn geht schnell.

booked this hotel on arrival at the airport where they give you up to 70% discount on hotels we paid 350yuan a night which relates to about £25. They had cheaper hotels but the difference between 3 and 4 stars was only a couple of pounds so go for this hotel if you want to be near the river. You have an option of a river view or a city view when you book, city view was 325yuan a night don't bother get the river view you will be amazed at night as the boat's go by all lit up and the hotels with their light and lazer shows. Room was ultra modern with Austin Powers style circular bed, plush sofa and dining table and chairs.( not that you would ever need these). 10 minute walk to subway and top cantonise restaraunt . If you are going to Hong Kong from here take the ferrry 130 yuan with free bus shuttle to the port, very speedy catamaran takes about 2 hours with fantastic views on the way and quick exit to mtr.
