Big time dump.Filth every place you look,Heat A/c,phones,doors showers ect ect is broken or mold on it or in it . Rugs ,walls, chairs beds ect all are stained. The sheets were used. This place should be closed for being unsafe ,unhealthy.Out of 8 staff members I worked with none were were able to respond well. This place has nothing at all for humans in it .

Had stayed previously and was disappointed. But the staff was friendly, so gave it another shot. Under new management and they're really taking seriously putting the place back the way we remember from the different name changes it's gone through. So, have to commend them on their efforts to bring the place back up to snuff. We will return. The location and family environment make it worth bearing with them while they're working so hard.

This is a horrible place! My husband booked it and did not check the reviews, unfortunately. Everything previous reviewers have said about it is true. It is completely run down, half the hotel is closed (sectioned off with yellow caution tape), and the smell was horrible. The first room we were in smelled strongly of smoke so we asked to be moved, and the second room smelled even worse. Both of these were non-smoking rooms. When I got home I had to wash the clothes I did not even wear because they smelled like the room - smoky and disgusting. The sad part is that we paid $140 for one night. We definitely could have done better. The photos posted on the internet are not accurate, most of the family friendly stuff is closed or broken. The only good thing about the place was the indoor pool which was nice and warm but did not seem all that clean. Of course, this was early October and it was not cold outside. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Stay far away!

I stayed here over the weekend. For the most part it was ok. The pictures of the hotel in their website need to be updated. The mold problem is being corrected, and they have that part shut down. The only hot food in the hotel is Chinese, there was no American food like the brochure stated. I was due to check in at 3:00, but I was late. When I arrived at 4:00 my room was not done yet, so they sent a maid there which took a good 30 minutes, only to find empty beer cans under the bed. The bar is boring, and it closes early. The pool room is hot, so you really can't sit out there too long. There are a lot of improvements to be made, I give it a 2. Next time I come, it won't be my first choice. Also the guy at the front desk has no clue how to run the computer so if you are in a hurry to check in or out, forget it...

This hotel experience was a nightmare. The hotel itself was hard to find, as it is currently in transition into a Regency Inn & Suites from whatever the hotel used to be. There was no sign on the road leading to the hotel, nor a lit sign on the hotel itself. Had I not been familiar with the area, I would have easily missed it. The only sign saying it was the Regency Inn & Suites was a large plastic banner, attached to the front wall of the hotel, under the eaves, and dimly lit. Had I not driven by days earlier to figure out where exactly it was, I might not have seen the sign at all, arriving after 8:30pm at night.
The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and it is in an area where help is hard to find (there's virtually no unemployment in this area). I also stayed over the Christmas holiday, so they were probably even more short-staffed).
The hotel itself was rather dingy-looking. I'm not saying it wasn't clean, and it certainly smelled perfectly normal, but the carpeting and the paint seemed rather old and in desperate need of replacement. The halls were frigid, as was the room when I first entered it. There was also no elevator I could find.
The room itself was dingy, and while I was there (8:30pm 12/24 to 11:00a 12/27) I think the housekeeping staff stopped by once to hang the towels up. I don't even think they replaced the washclothes with fresh ones. They were still damp when I returned after housekeeping had left (they didn't even make the bed on the 26th, and they never stopped by on the 25th). The bathroom sink faucet leaked and I could never get any hot water from the sink faucet, whereas the shower was practically boiling. I had to put towels underneath the sink because when I turned the faucet on, it leaked, and then ran down the elbow pipe underneath the sink to drip on the floor. My first night there I went in for a drink of water and stepped in a freezing cold puddle. The shower head had two speeds: blasting into the center, or trickling into the center.
The room itsel had the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on. It was lumpy and seemed rock hard in places and lumpy in others. There was also a problem with the heating/a/c unit. When I first entered the room, it was freezing cold because the unit was off. I realized why when I discovered that in order to get any heat, the unit had be on - permanently. I don't know if the temperature guage was working, because if the unit was on high heat I was in a sauna. If it was on low heat, it was pleasant for an hour, and then it dropped to very cold. And the unit was always on (never shutting down like a thermostat controlled heating unit).
I also discovered that the carafe for the coffee pot was missing. Not that I wanted to use it. It looked very dirty.
I would note that the room did have a mini-fridge and a microwave, which was wonderful because when the hotel is listed as having a resteraunt, it doesn't mention that it's a China Lite restaraunt. I like chinese food as much as the next person, but I can't eat it for three meals a day. Fortunately, I am familiar with the area, and there were several other restaraunts within a short distance.
Further, the hotel had a nice, very clean looking pool (I didn't know about it, nor would I have gone in it if I'd known because although it was an indoor pool, it was about 50 degrees in the pool/game area). The hotel did offer a continental breakfast, that I took advantage of once. But the eating area was so cold that I didn't stay longer than it took to toast an english muffin and make a cup of tea.
When I called ahead to check if the hotel had laundry facilities, I couldn't even get the front desk to pick up. I called twice, let the phone ring 20 times with no answer. I ended up having to call my booking agent to determine if the hotel was indeed open.
Upon checkout, I was dealing with the manager, who was not unpleasant, but did not go out of his way to ask whether I had enjoyed my stay. He merely looked at the screen after I gave my room number, told me I was all set, and basically dismissed me.
All in all, I don't know if it was because it was a transition period or what, but I was not impressed, nor would I recommend this particular hotel at this stage of it's renovation.
