The Hotel is in a great location - in a quiet side street about five minutes from the river and ten or so minutes from the Guggenheim. The entrance area gives a false impression - it is very modern and shiny. Service is indifferent! However, once into the room that opinion changes - the room was clean but in need of renovation. That said, I was in Bilbao to see the city so as a place to sleep it was more than adequate.

El verano pasado estuvimos en Bilbao y no teníamos hotel reservado, así que buscamos un hotel de 3 estrellas para que no se nos fuera mucho de precio y encontramos el Abba Parque por 50 euros la noche. Nos sorprendió muy, pero que muy gratamente, porque tiene 3 estrellas pero las habitaciones no tenían nada que envidiar a uno de cuatro. En conclusión, que se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

I came to this hotel after staying in its sister hotel in San Sebastian (NH Aranzazu), and I am happy to report the same high standard, except that this hotel was even cheaper! I could not believe that I got a hotel of this quality for about 65 euros for the night. I got a very large, comfortable room. I am not sure what the official star rating was, but I would put this at 5 star quality. There was an excellent buffet breakfast for a fairly reasonable price. When I travel, the most important quality I look for in a hotel is CLEANLINESS. This, and its sister hotel, were absolutely excellent in this regard. The location was excellent in central Bilbao. I would definitely stay here again.
