The Hotel is Fine. Nice walk to most historic locations in Rome.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Rooms are a good size, comfortable and kept clean. Breakfast is not great. Limited selection of food to choose from.
Otherwise a nice hotel

We stayed in the Londra and Cargill Hotel between the dates 14-18 Sept. The place was OK. but is not very close to the city, should take a cab or a bus to go to the touristic places.
There was a bad odor in room we first checked in. So we asked to change our room. The other room was fine and more spacious.
The place is clean but need some repair in some places. The staff is helpful.
OVERALL you may try to find some place nicer and closer to the city for the same price, if not that might be a choice...

I stayed with my family from 30th Dec. untill Jan. 3rd. Don't know about the price since we were travelling with a prepaid group trip, but the door price of 300euros seems a little opimistic to me as is the four star grade of the hotel. My complain basically based on the poor breakfast that they offer. Only ceareals, jam, honey and some salami and cheese. They charged me 7 euros for an extra omelet!!! After all Rome is a very expensive city... !!!
Anyways the stuff was helpfull and friendly, rooms were very clean and spacious with the bathroom being very well equiptped. The location of the hotel is pretty closed to Via Venetton thus is the Spanish Steps too.It is recommended for travellers and for businessmen.

We have stayed at this hotel from 30th of December and has just turned last night on the 3th of January. During our stay, the room service, the cleanness of the rooms and the helpfull manner of the guys in the reception was great. We have stayed at the room number 112 and there is no view but you do not go to a holiday to stay at the hotel room. And I can surely tell that it is just 10 min to the Spanish Steps and other central locations by foot. I think you have to try.

Booked the hotel through venere and for 100 Euros a night it was an excellent deal. Rooms very spacious and nice (could have done with a bit of a more effective AC mind you!) and we found reception staff friendly enough. It's a little out of the way, but not as far as it looked on the maps - maybe a 30 minute walk to the Trevi/Pantheon? Breakfast good, all in all I'd recommend it.
As another tip, there is a FANTASTIC little restaurant on the Piazza Sallustio. I don't remeber it's name but it is owned by an ex-jockey and there is a picture of a horse in the window (!!). The food and atmosphere was magnificent and very affordable - seek it out!
