The Manor Apartments are in a fantastic location- very central in the CIty area of Brisbane, close to shops and restaurants.
We were in a two bedroom suite, which we loved. The furnishings are charming and the place had some style and character The living room has plush leather sofas, period fittings and drapes and a small dining area. The bedrooms were nice, not huge but spacious enough.
We thought this place had far more character than a ubiquitous hotel and was a lovely, quiet refuge from the busy city outside.
Breakfast was adequate, and staff were lovely and helpful.

We stayed at the Manor Apartment Hotel in March for 5 nights while in brisbane. The Manor is an elegant english style hotel, in a beautiful old building in the brisbane CBD. The rooms, are quite small, not really big enough if your carrying a lot of luggage to spread out, but are very clean and comfortable. We were given complimentary breakfast each morning in a very english style room, the breakfast was only continental however there egg machine is great!
The hotel is in a perfect location, only a 5 minute walk to the queens street mall and CBD area however getting a car park around this area is impossible, the hotel does not have a car park of its own, it however does offer discount rates for a nearby parking complex, but even discounted its still $20 per 24hr period!!
The staff were very friendly and only to happy to point you in the right direction.. we would gladly stay at this hotel again, only next time, leave the car at home.

good for business travelers

Because this hotel is in an older, historic building the suites are miniscule. It would be perfect for a business traveler on his/her own, but for two of us-----yeesh! There was literally not enough room in the bedroom to keep a suitcase open and use the closet at the same time. The lighting in the bathroom was poor---women of a certain age (like myself)would have a hard time putting on makeup in the rather dim light. The washing machine wasn't functioning correctly and did some serious damage to our clothes (the water temp was set to "boiling" which we didn't find out until it was too late) and management wasn't very responsive to this problem (a real issue considering one of the reasons we had chosen this hotel was in order to do our three weeks worth of laundry). The hotel sits sideways to the street, so the view from our first floor room was of the side of the next building 20 feet away. maid service was only three times a week; again we had assumed it would be daily. But although small the suite was quite nice and the location, in the heart of the business district, right by the mall, and a quick walk to the waterfront, was absolutely terrific.
