One of the worst experience we have ever had. The management was very rude. The rooms didnot have a lock. When we came back from the falls the room was wide open (we had closed and locked it.. or so we thought). never make the mistake of coming to this place.. it spoiled our whole holiday mood.

This past saturday we stayed at a scottish inns in Sparta,Wi. The rate was $40.00 for a 2 bed room. The room was supposed to be non smoking, but had an obvious smoke odor. When you leave the next morning and your clothes smell like smoke, it is a let down. One of the pillow cases had what looked like a cigarette burn hole in it. The room was not real clean. On a shelf above the coat rack we observed what looked like bird seed covering the shelf. The window locks were missing some screws, so the windows would not lock properly. I would think that if a business like a motel would like to stay in business, it would be kept up to certain standards. I think the price for this quality is not a value. I also noticed that in a motel like this, you only have one fire escape route. Is this an issue? Please reply. Thank you. Scott Preuss.
