This is a terrible place; I ended up here for one night after a long drive and this was the only motel which had rooms available. Seeing as it was just off the I-10 I pulled in and booked a room. It was dark, I was terribly exhausted, but still - big mistake ! This motel is filthy, dangerous and depressing. There was some kind of rotting Indian food in the fridge in my room which made me feel ill, after changing rooms I found the sheets and mattress in the new room to be stained yellow. I ended up sleeping on the towels, which themselves were only marginally better. TV consists of several channels of hard-core porn which looks like it has been filmed in a local crack den. On the ceiling above your bed they have some kind of flourescent mural of stars and the moon which glows in the dark. I was woken up at 3am by somebody pounding on my door and shouting in drunken gibberish, eventually they went away but you can imagine that I didn't get much sleep thereafter. In short, it is the kind of place that truck drivers take prostitutes, stay away at all costs. I was so happy when the sun came up and I could leave the place, I kid you not !
