We prechecked in at the front desk in a.m. then went to Universal for the day came back around 6:PM and was given key to the room, hauled suitcases to room thru dirty halls, opened the door and the room had not been been cleaned from the guest before us..beds unmade, drity towels and trash on floor, etc. Was given another room in which the A/C did not work and frig was broken and carpet was wet from the frig. Given a 3rd room which was was just as nasty . Beds were made but sheets stained, carpet was filthy..daughers white socks where black on the bottom from just walking in the room. Chair was broken, light burnt out and tub, toilet and sink were dirty and had hair on the floor. We were just too tired to go find somthing else. Since we pre -paid we were responsible for the remaining days. Left note for housekeeping to change all beding and went to "breakfast" where there was not enough room to even moveor sit. had only food that needed to be toasted...however the 2 toasters that they had were both broken, juice's tasted like water, milk was warm and coffee was cold. There were bugs in the halls and rooms..broken lockes.....Need I really say more??? We have named this the hotel from hell...However everything we did outside of the hotel stay was wonderful!!

My wife and I were assigned lodging at the Royal Celebration Inn (through a timeshare come-on) and had a horrible experience at this hotel. First of all, the building itself is an eyesore, badly needing a paint job and new carpeting throughout. All of the doorlocks leading into the three-section building have been removed, so anybody who wants to can come in to the hotel... and they do! Strangers walk the hallways, talking loudly and shoving pizza menus underneath the doors at all hours. The few positives here we can say are that the rooms themselves are good size, come with mini-fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board, et al. The free continental breakfast is standard fare... no frills, but fresh. However, the hotel's cleaning staff leaves much to be desired... for instance, pubic hairs from past guests were found in the bed. And it took three visits to the front desk and two visits from the maintenance staff to get into our room at the end of a long day at Disney. Not a good experience at all. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for! From now on, we'll be staying at one of the Disney hotels... well worth the extra $$$$.

Not bad, but be careful when paying for the room.

We called to book a room for two nights at their advertised discount rate. We were told it did not apply to our state, but they could book a room for us at twice that price. Since this was still low, we agreed. We only stayed one night--felt it was better to lose the money than go through another sleepless night at this dirty, run down, dump!! Uncomfortable bed, dirty bathroom, bugs. ick!! We then went to a Holiday Inn Express and had a GREAT experience. We have owned our own B&B, and motel, so I feel we are able to evaluate the business well. You really do get what you pay for!

The hotel was old, the toilet was clogged, the heater did not work, the sliding door lock was broke, not much sound proofing, very noisy and worst of all it smelled like mildew. We reserved a king bed but got a queen instead. The clerks would speak in spanish to each other. We were so disgusted that we left at 2:30 am. We would not recommend this place !
