Don't Support Troops

They advertise that they support the troops with a discount, but when I called, a Soldier in the Army, to book they said they were not able to give the discount due to 80% capacity. Not to mention, it was pretty empty when we were there! I was told i didnt call far enough in advance. If they knew anything about the military that they claim to support, they would know that Soldiers do not find out very far in advance when they will have leave to spend time with their families. I know that I will not be spending anymore of my time or money at Tundra Lodge. If they had someone close to them die or be injured in war, they truely would support the troops no matter what.

This is a large family friendly hotel. There is a good size water park attached to the hotel, but be aware there is no adult pool area. Go to this hotel with your kids, stay away from this hotel if you want to have adult time.
The entire hotel, rooms included, go overboard with the rustic lodge theme. Have fun with it.
My room was large, complete with a separate bunkie for kids, or luggage. The room was fine but could have been cleaner. They clean the obvious stuff but there is dust all over the room in places that take more effort to clean. The bathroom was small but functional.
The front desk and hotel bar (Yukon Jaxx) staff were always wonderful and helpful. The bar served food which was handy since the dining room was full of screaming kids every night I was there. The only other places to eat nearby (easy walk across the parking lot) is a Pizza Hut and a seafood place.
The staff at the water park was surly and/or absent. I had daily passes with the hotel stay, so why not take advantage but I was amazed at the rudeness there. It must be tedious to mind screaming kids all day but why take it out on the guests? The bar staff at the water park were especially awful. It was unseasonably warm during my stay and one night 8-10 happy, polite people were outdoors at the waterpark bar. Note that the bar was open, however we had to go inside to find the bartender who served us with distain. We could see the closing time posted and when it came time instead of calling last call she slammed the door shut and turned out the light.
Although the accommodation was OK, as in no serious complaints, this is an expensive hotel on game weekends. Totally not worth it.
I ended up at Tundra Lodge as part of a package, but if I went back to Green Bay I’d find a hotel closer to the stadium, and more adult-friendly.

We're from AZ & come for Packers games & during the summer. This is the 8th or 9th. time we've stayed here since the Tundra opened & we will not stay anywhere else. We've stayed at other hotels in Green Bay & none are as nice as the Tundra. As a Hilton Honors member (Diamond level) we can stay for free at the Hilton Garden Inn or the Hampton (only Hiltons in Green Bay) & we will not because they're your typical hotels - no atmosphere & not as friendly.
During football season, we bring our daughters & sons-in-law for the game & we stay at the Tundra. The Tundra is extremely accommodating & helpful as to our room location, check-in, etc.
We enjoy the waterpark & have never found it over-crowded, noisy or encountered any problems.
We've never had any "extra" charges on our bill or any other problems during our stays. The Tundra has a welcoming, friendly & relaxing atmosphere, along with a staff that is very friendly, professional, accommodating & nice. This includes everyone from the front desk to the restaurant, bar, waterpark & security, especially the manager, Matt, who greets you & makes you feel welcome. Not only does he "manage", but he greets people, talks with them & thanks them for staying at the Tundra. Not too many lodging managers do that.
We cannot say enough good things about the Tundra. Hopefully, the new owners will not change management or staff...the employees & the atmosphere are what make the Tundra an excellent place to stay, especially after the loss to the Giants on Jan. 20, 2008 (the 2nd Ice Bowl).
Probably the best place to stay in Green Bay - with kids

Green Bay has three things going for it...My best friends live there, The Packers and...ummm...I can't really think of the other. A boring city, even more so than my hometown of Milwaukee.
So if for any reason what-so-sver you find yourself in this gray, industrial town with the kids, do yourself a favor and stay at the Tundra Lodge. It's like finding an oasis in the middle of nowhere.
First, the place itself is very well maintained. It's a resort hotel with a large water park indoors (and a jacuzzi and pool outdoors). The waterpark can easily keep your kids busy for 4-5 hours a day, with giant slides, a lazy river and the giant-bucket that tips over every 5-6 minutes (a favorite in Wisconsin). Tons of life guards, very safe so you can let your kids run free quite comfortably.
The rooms are spacious enough for a family of four, with the kids having their own little enclave with a bunkbed and a TV. The main bedroom has adequate space, a writing table and the basic ammenities.
The bathroom is rather small but adequate.
The hotel has a restaurant that serves a basic breakfast and dinner (maybe lunch, too, but we didn't see it). The staff are very friendly and the hotel manager, who just happend to walk by us down the hall, stopped and asked how we were doing and gave us his card if we ever need to get in touch.
All in all, a great stay and very recommended for families visiting Green Bay, WI.

Hotel had posted signs in lobby with waterpark hours. Purchased extra waterpark passes at check-in. The next morning stood at park doors for 30 minutes... no one came. Finally went to desk...informed not going to open "must have 7 lifeguards...sorry." Given arcade tokens instead???
Staff never came to waterpark doors to inform waiting guests that waterpark wouldn't open.
All charges to room were doubled. When calling the desk to ask if they would please adjust the error..they said "No. You have to come to the desk." -- Waited five minutes for desk clerk to appear...finally comes out of backroom buttoning up her blouse!
Tried calling the manager afterwards to discuss...waited on hold for 10 minutes and then "he isn't available."
Suggest you try ANY other hotel with a pool. At the VERY least you will be able to swim. Otherwise try the Dells.
