I stayed in Capri for 2 nights, and chose this hotel because it looked like a charming place with a history. I arrived from Milan via Naples, and by the time i got there i was exhausted. I had accumulated way too much luggage for me to handle on my own, and therefore had difficulty getting to the hotel. The taxi will drop you off at a small square and you have to make your way down series of steps until you get there. There will be a few signs along the way, so you know you haven't missed it... The staff were extremely helpful on arrival, and carried my bags to the room. When i checked in the girl gave me a map and a thorough explanation of Capri and it's attractions. So a big tick for customer service. My room was small but tasteful. The airconditioning functioned perfectly, there was a lovely view from the window, the shower was small - but i was SO thankful to finally get an ACTUAL shower in Europe! As opposed to a bathtub... The breakfast was fine, there is a buffet table, not a lot on offer, but it's a lovely environment and the staff do really try to satisfy your needs. You will have to take a bus into the main town of Capri, i think the ticket is EU1 each way.. and it doesn't take long, plus you get a fantastic view as the bus winds down the road.. Be warned there will be a lot of beeping... The blue grotto is close by, as is Mt Solaro (you can get there by a cable car), and if you like to swim, Faro is close too. Around Anacapri most of the houses are whitewashed, with lots of flowers.. I thoroughly enjoyed by stay at Casa Caprile. It's a great place to unwind and just enjoy the magic that is Capri. On the way out, the hotel has a shuttle car that will drop you off in the centre of Anacapri from where you can catch a taxi to the port. (the usually charge around EU20)

Ma femme et moi avons récemment séjourné au Casa Caprile après avoir fait de longues recherches parmi les hôtels de Anacapri. La chambre était superbe : propre, d’une bonne taille, avec un lit confortable et une vue magnifique depuis le deuxième étage. Le personnel était très serviable (nous avions perdu nos bagages pendant le vol et le responsable nous a bien aidé à les retrouver). L’hôtel se trouve en bas de quelques marches comme on l’a déjà dit dans un autre commentaire mais si vous pouvez vous déplacer ce n’est pas très grave. Son emplacement en fait un bon point de chute pour explorer l’île et il y a des cafés tout près et un arrêt de bus. Je vous conseille de prendre le télésiège : la vue pendant l’ascension et une fois en haut est extraordinaire. Je reviendrais ici sans problème.

Meine Frau und ich waren kürzlich im Casa Caprile Hotel nachdem wir uns über die Hotels in Anacapri schlau gemacht hatten. Das Zimmer war großartig: sauber, recht groß, komfortables Bett und hat einen tollen Blick auf das zweite Level. Die Angestellten waren sehr hilfsbereite, die Fluglinie hatte unsere Koffer verloren und der Manager war uns sehr behilflich dabei, diesen hinterher zu jagen. Wie in einer der anderen Kritiken schon berichtet wird, liegt das Hotel ein paar Stufen runter aber wenn man dazu in der Lage ist, dann ist das gar nicht so dramatisch. Die Lage macht es zu einer tollen Ausgangsbasis um die Insel zu erkunden, die Cafes kann man gut zu Fuß erreichen und der Bus ist auch ganz in der Nähe. Würde auf jeden Fall die Gondelfahrt empfehlen, die Aussicht bei der Auffahrt und von oben war sagenhaft. Würde hier auf jeden Fall wieder unterkommen.
