Very Disappointed
Guest name: Love_n_Serenity, ACT
My sister and I stayed at this hotel for one night only and we would never stay there again. The room we we’re allocated was in the corner of level 2. The room was very dusty and smelt like it had not been aired and thoroughly vacuumed for years. I’m sure there was so much dust in the carpet because I woke at about 4am in the morning and felt I had just swallowed a mouth full of dust. I felt I was being chocked. This is a terrible feeling, to feel you are being suffocated in a small room with no where to go. I’m so disappointed.
Excellent Value If You Are Not Looking for Fancy

we stayed at family room deluxe: bunk bed, twin bed, double bed
Floor dirty, Shower was loud, you can see the water heater,
we asked for the room NOT facing ultimo rd., we booked in advanced, (you could do this), but no we got teh SECOND floor, facing the racing street ......side of hotel. I didn't believe the other reviewers, but TRUST me, for those who does have a good review of hotel, they must have slept facing the other QUIET side of hotel.
Service was good, no worries, fridge big enough, WE ATE in PAddy's Market, YUM YUM, CHEAP CHEAP,
front desk was good

Some of the more negative reviews are unfair given the cheap accommodation this hotel offers in a prized location close to Sydney Terminal (Central) railway station.
Yes, our room was poky.
Yes, we could really only get onto the double bed from one side.
However, we slept well and there were no noise problems.
Being midweek, the hotel did not appear to be full.
The staff were fine.
For A$84, good value but of course those who wish three and a half stars or above need to pay more at other hotels.

What can I say about aaron's hotel...? When we tried to check in, the reception staff couldn't find our booking and didn't seem to understand English too well, we repeated our booking name several times until someone more senior came in and saved the day....
...On the plus side the room was ready early for us, we were supposed to be checking in at 2pm but thankfully could check in earlier at 12 instead.
The room itself had a stale smell of damp and the curtain's wouldn't open properly so we couldn't get any proper day light...the decor wasn't really up to much, they had painted the block wall with 'fashionable' colours to try and make it a bit more trendy...
...the bathroom was like walking into a time machine, was really dated and old, it was like going back into the 70's and the shower was just a mere trickle which was quite difficult to shower in.
Basically, it was a liveable place for a couple of nights but your really paying for location more than anything else...
