The price was adequate for the hotel. The rooms have recently been updated. They were very clean. The daily breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fruit, bagels, muffins, cereal and oatmeal. You are also given 2 free drink coupons each night to use in their bar. They are good for draft beer or sodas. The staff was very friendly. We would definately go back.

Ick...This place is a joke from the check in....the staff are the only asset this place has...the rooms are outdated, beds are worn and not updated, tv's are old and loosing color, and CRICKETS yes crickets...We had crickets when we pulled the sheets back..dead crickets in the corners of the rooms...and oh lord woke up in the moring and there was 10 or 15 in my room. I brought a present back to my family after my business trip....opened my suitcase and my son found 2 crickets...Then to top off the morning I went to check out they couldnt check me out..because the computer crashed..they thought a cricket got in and fried it...uggh...to top that off because they couldnt check out I finaly had to call the credit card company to release the hold they put on my card for 500.00 bucks for one night...good god you would have thought it was the major presidental suiet at that. ...needless to say we have advised our corp travel agent to not send people here every.. and to bad we send 6-9 people a week to altus for 5 days at a pop...

We were very pleased with our non-smoking king bedroom. This property allows dogs for no extra fee, which is why we chose it. Shower had great shower head and curved shower-curtain rod, giving the shower a roomier feel. Had microwave and refrigerator. King bed was firm, but not too firm. The coffee maker didn't get very hot. Overall, very pleased.

This hotel was for the most part clean and inviting. The staff members who helped us were very nice and professional. We spent two enjoyable nights at the BW. We would definately stay there again. The price was right, breakfast is very good, and the two free drinks were nice.

Fairly Good Hotel
Guest name: PikesPeakGirl, Divide, CO
We have stayed at both the Ramada and the Best Western as we have a relative at Altus AFB. The Best Western is a fairly good, although worn, hotel. The front lobby, indoor/outdoor pool and free continental breakfast are very nice. The rooms are older with each having a microwave and minifridge. Some rooms have a desk, others have a table and chairs. The bathrooms are just average, but if you're not going to spend much time in your room, the Best Western will do. Pets are allowed and there are several soda/ice machines. The hotel is right across Tamarack St. from Wal-Mart and several other stores. It is a short drive from Altus AFB, and within walking distance to Applebee's.
The Microtel Hotel is the newest hotel in Altus at Continental and Main St., but it doesn't have a pool. So, if a pool is important, the Best Western is the best hotel. Soon, though, a Hampton Inn will be opening near the Applebee's and Microtel.
