The question is not whether this hotel deserves X number of stars, but whether it should be condemned. It is nearly falling down - the floors are all badly caving, window sills are rotting, the walls have holes and are erupting with water damage, and the bathroom piping and surround is badly damaged and barely functional.
The hotel is also dirty. Very dusty with old dirty cobwebs around.
The decaying window-sills and single-paned windows are EXTREMELY drafty, and put up no barrier at all to outside noise. Sirens and traffic went by all night, and sounded like they were traveling directly through the room.
Overall, a very loud, dirty, terrifying stay. I could not leave fast enough and would NEVER recommend this hotel.

This place has seen its best times decades ago. It is dirty (I had the obligatory blood stains on my towels) and smelly (even with opening both windows fully, I could recognize the smell in the morning). I left the place after one night (and would have done it earlier, if I hadn?t arrived in the middle of the night). The only positive thing about the hotel is the area around.

Biltmore Suites is ok for a quick, overnight stay - especially if you are looking for an inexpensive room in Baltimore. The staff is very accommodating & pleasant, but this charming inn is in dire need of renovation. Overall, the interior decor (both in the common areas and rooms) is old - a "grandma" look and feel with Salvation Army quality furniture. I traveled with family, and on a positive note, my room offered a large layout with king bed, sitting area, kitchenette, and bathroom. Unfortunately, the spacious room was spoiled by a variety of creepy, mis-matched furniture, blood red window treatments, a kitchenette with aluminum foil covered burners, bathroom walls with small holes stuffed with tissue paper, a tub with a funky foot sticker, a pipe sticking out of the tub wall, a wood platform keeping the toilet from going under, and multiple stains and holes on sheets. My cousin offered every member of my family a thoughful turndown service with chocolates - only to discover flat, disappointing pillows. Another cousin attempted to open her window curtains, only to have them fall on top of her. In the morning, I used the rooms coffee maker, sat with a weak cup of coffee and non dairy creamer at one of the room's side tables, and pondered the day ahead. Everyone reported they had a good nights sleep, but I have to admit, I felt a little itchy.

We stayed here as a group attending a friend's wedding. I fell in love with this cute little hotel. It is a truly unique experience. It helped that everyone at the hotel was there for the wedding, but I certainly fell in loooove with this facility. Very cute old fashioned hotel. We had a nice little balcony that we could use. The common area was fantastic. The customer service was awesome too. Over all a great experience.
