We stayed at the hotel in February 2008 to get away from home for the weekend - with the kids. It was nice to stay in the Fireplace suite and the kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel was very clean and the breakfast was great! There was alot to choose from. The biggest issue was that the pool water was really cold. It didnt stop the kids from swimming but it did stop me from getting in and splashing around.
Still a very nice stay.

When we first walked in, there was hot coffee with REAL dairy to drink with it and the lobby was warm, warmly furnished but spare, and immaculate. Our suite (225) was laid out in an attractive pattern with lovely paintings on the wall. it was also immaculate, but no obvious odors of cleaning products. the accomodations were quiet and all the features worked properly. the water pressure was fair and that's the worst i can say. the staff is extremely warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar is standard, but everything was kept filled, fresh, clean and the hot kept hot and the cold kept cold. ( i worked in restaurants and most don't even get THAT right) so i was impressed and extremely pleased and i'm fussy as heck! All in all, i would not only stay there again, but would advise that this is probably one of the best inns for the money in town!

My husband booked a whirlpool suite here for my birthday because we were visiting my inlaws. WE checked in at around 8:30pm. I was excited to use the pool and hote tub (this is one of my main reasons for getting a hotel room, other wise i can sleep at my inlaws for free!), but when I asked what time it closes we were informed that the pool was broken. So we checked in anyway very disappointed and went to our room. The room was nice, brand new and the whirlpool tub was nice because you could watch TV from it since it is in the bedroom. (This is the only reason we even stayed) In the morning we went to the "enhanced" continental breakfast at around 8:30am. They were out of lots of items including the waffle mix for the "make your own" waffles. We might try this hotel again, but only because there are really no other choices in Muscatine and we will definitely call ahead right before check in to see if the pool is working!

This looks like a fairly new hotel in Muscatine, IA. I was told about this property by a business associate and decided to try it out.
The rooms are very clean and the staff professional and friendly. The pool and fitness are also clean and up to date. They have a great rewards program for frequent guests.
In terms of extras, they do have free high speed internet access (important for most business travelers.)
I have stayed in many hotels throughout the midwest and this one is very inviting. This is my first choice when staying in Muscatine.
