I recall reading in the room documents that this place had been recently refurbished before I checked in. It was a very tastefully decorated lovely room and I'm eager to stay there again next time I go to Brisbane. I had a view of the mill and a cute little balcony, with chairs and a table. And staying in a round building was a really quaint novelty. I really can't fault anything about the service or the room/bathroom at all. I travel a lot for business and always have to watch the travel budget so have stayed in very many low-medium priced places. I can therefore say that this hotel really is excellent value.

Great location and a good hotel. Paid a bit more than I would have liked but it was a late NYE booking. Would stay there again and make more of it as time was short that evening.

This was our first night in Australia, so it wasn't a bad place to get over jet lag. We only stayed one night - they wouldn't let us check in early or check out late. The room was tiny and the bathroom was not very nice at all. The location was great and the price wasn't bad, but I would NOT stay here for any length of time. I would not go back to Brisbane.

They have just refurbished the entire hotel the most beutiful rooms i have seen, lovly restaurant now on the ground floor open for breakfast lunch and dinner. Still good Value and staff are lovely

L'hôtel, ancien mais rénové, est idéalement placé. il est situé dans un coin calme et arboré qui domine la city et à 10 mn à pied du coeur de brisbane. Le prix des chambres est très correct et la vue domine la ville. La surface de notre chambre était plus grande que dans beaucoup d'hôtels modernes, avec un service pour se préparer le café ou le thé. La salle de bains était propre mais le style vieillot. Le parking est gratuit pour les résidents de l'hôtel et il y a un lavomatic à jetons très pratique. La salle de restauration au dernier étage est panoramique, la carte est correcte et les prix y sont très abordables. En conclusion, une bonne adresse. On y retournera.
