We went on our honeymoon to Kamala Beach Hotel, Phuket and our experience there was awesome. It is so beautiful, peaceful and just perfect in every way. We stayed at a bunglow- the room was huge and the view of the sea from our balcony spectacular. The natural beauty takes your breath away. The hotel is spread across a garden and the winding path through the grass leads directly to the beach. Locationwise, nothing could be more perfect. Though it is not in the heart of the town- it is the place to stay if the sea is all that you really need to enjoy your vacation. The sunset view we enjoyed sitting in the resturant was unbelivable. We enjoyed everything at the resort- lovely swimming pool with lounge chairs around it aswell as the thai massage the girls offered at the hut. We ate everyday at the hotel resturant. The food was very good and reasonably priced. On some evenings- there was live music.The breakfast here deserves a special mention- it was magnificent. The staff were nice and helpful. Despite the language problem, their constant effort always managed to put a smile on our faces. We never faced any problems during our stay or airport transfers. We will always remember the special arrangments they made because it was our honeymoon- flowers on the bed, champagne and fruit basket. Phuket is a beautiful place and we enjoyed our day trip to Phi Phi island. But the highlight of our trip remains Kamala Beach Resort- we couldnot have picked a more romantic place to stay.We loved the 4 days we spent hereand hope to return again soon.

have just returned from 9 nights in a side seaview room great room just like the pictures a must do is go see wally and the girls in the massage hut they are so nice and friendly i miss them already staff very friendly and helpful would stay there again and a great location

The Kamala Beach Hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel is right on the beach so is very safe. There are two pools and the grounds are very green and well kept. The rooms were very spacious and lovely. We were in a deluxe sea view and although you couldn't see much of the sea due to the palm trees, it was still a lovely view. Most of the people in the hotel were German, Russian or Swedish and we, as English, were in the minority, but this suited us just fine. Kamala is a lovely resort, the beach is not crowded and is very pretty. The village is small but has enough restaurants, bars and shops to keep you occupied. The bars and restaurants do close early (11pm ish) so if you are a night owl this place may be too quiet for you, but for us it was great. The hotel offer a shuttle bus to Patong (the main town) for 300 baht return. This takes you at 6.45pm and picks you up at 10.30pm. This was plenty of time for us as Patong is a mad place - you must visit just for the bright lights and madness of it all, but we were so glad we were not staying in Patong and we could return to our beautiful Kamala. We would highly recommend this hotel and we would stay again in a heartbeat.

The resort is above average for the price I went with shaz42 and just like her review I too miss the girls that do massages. The only issue for me was the stairs 2 flights every day with a bad knee was not so good I will stay there again but on the ground floor. I will also take a room fresherner next time very musky smell.
