Very disappointed with this hotel. For ?200/night I expected more than a characterless, poky motel style room looking out onto the car park (parking costs extra....).
Granted this was Denmark and the high season, but this room would have been bad value in Copenhagen. A cheap IKEA bunk was squeezed in to make it a "family" room. No kettle or minibar in the room - free coffee from the machine in the main hotel.
On the plus side the hotel is well located (Museum, station, etc). Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful.

We found the Hotel Petit absolutely delightful in all ways.
We stayed their two nights, enjoyed the room, the breakfast and mostly the helpful and wonderful help of the owner.
Minor observation: NOT a complaint: There was a shower "cabin" in the room, sort of a mixture of Woody Allan's Orgasmatron and whatever. We did eventually figure out how to take a shower in this gadget, but would have been perfectly happy with a normal American style shower, not the Scandinavian type that has the drain in the middle of the floor and then suggests that one uses the hair dryer standing on a wet floor.
Does not matter.
A great stay, we will return any chance we get!

This is a hotel that I really can recomend !
The location is perfect, 3 minutes from the railwaystation, in the beguinning of the shoping street and close to booth the beach and the harbour as to the Skagen museum.
We got a really worm welcome from one of the owners when we shecked in, she was so nice. The hotel is very small, around 22 rooms, which makes it very personal and cosy.
The rooms are nice furnitured in nice colors. It´s very clean and the beds vere really good. The bathroom is a bit small but it´s also clean and fresh. The window in the room was very big which made the room light and nice.
The breakfast was also good, you got just what you needed and the hostess was so friendly.
Something extra was that all rooms can use a small pentry where you can make tea or coffee for free. There is also a big minibar where you can buy small bottles with wine, spirits and other drinks and snacks. Really nice.
I warmly recomend this hotel, it will give you a nice staying in Skagen.

The staff was very kind and helpful at this hotel but the room was too tiny and the whole place reeked of smoke. Parking was convenient and the location was good for walking to the Skagen museum or the restaurants and shops.
