After reading all the negative reviews i was very worried. But once i got there i was very happy!! The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and the air conditioner worked, the T.V.worked and the maid clean my room everyday! Like most hotels on South Beach this one looked a little old but you cant beat the price and the fact that its on 9th street and Collins is EXCELLENT! You are a block away from the beach and from all the hotspots like Wet Willies, Mangos and Fat Tuesday!!!! So go ahead book and Enjoy!

The staff was friendly and helpful when needed, but that was the only thing that I liked. The Hotel is pretty old and shabby on the inside. The moldy-mildewy smell is still their and the drywall in the room needed some repair work. Bathroom tile was falling off and the bathroom sink dripped all night. The walls are paper thin so you can here everything from the next rooms and hallways. Lastly, our door wouldn't shut properly because it was out of alignment. We had the push against it with our body to get it closed. All-in-all the hotel seems to be falling apart and the staff does patch-up work to the best of their ability. The staff is doing the best it can do with what is there; However, a complete overall of this hotel is in order. Truthfully, I will not stay there again and recommend it as a last choice. Advertisedd as "South Beach's Secret", I found that the only secret here is how they are still in business. No towel racks in the bathroom, holes in the wall. Window air conditioning, barely viewable cable. Don't expect any courtesy from the staff here. I just went to get some coffee at 6am, was admonsihed because I had the audacity to believe the courtesy contenental breakfast would be here earlier than 7:30am. This is the first hotel I have ever been to that has absolutely no eminities. Unless you count towels as an eminity, or Cashmere Bouquet soap. No shampoo in room, I am afraid to ask at the desk.

dirty, terribly stinky room #203... probably, odor was coming from 100 years old carpet.. i had to buy air freshener but it didn't help... On my 5th day somebody stole my skirt from the room. Management (agressive and rude guy) didn't do anything... each time when was leaving the room i had to think about the safety of my stuff... PEOPLE, NEVER STAY IN PRINCESS ANN HOTEL OR YOU WILL RUIN YOUR VACATION! I didn't believe when i read all these reviews and booked the room.. Now i regret!
