Where is everyone staying?

Are we all staying at the same place?
Okay remember that haunted inn that you saw in horror movies.
Well Voila!
It is sooooo dark in here. Dark!
The dark wood, the dark carpet, they even have pink sheets (never have I slept on pink sheets).
The front desk was friendly - thus the 2 star rating but if you are a business travel - walk away.
As a business travel, we want wireLESS not wired WIFI. a gym so that we can workup a sweat after a busy meeting or before a hectic day, we also want a free or discounted breakfast especially if we go to the trouble of becoming members of your hotel club. And there is nothing else in the area on a Sunday night/Monday morning to venture to
This in may be good for hmmm the blind with big pockets. But this inn needs to "step it up" and a huge makeover for any repeat business stays.
Nice inn

This was a charming and quaint little hotel. My room was small but adequate—and it was a great price. The room was clean and tidy. They are currently undergoing a renovation on the entrance but I didn’t hear any construction noise during my stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. This isn’t a typical chain hotel; it’s quirky but comfortable. The surrounding neighborhood was like a little upscale village. Also on the square (along with the Inn) was a movie theater, ice cream, pizza, and other shops. Graeter’s ice cream (very close by) was excellent.

We have been coming to the Mariemont Inn for many years. In fact, we had our wedding reception here. To me it feels like home. I am happy to see that some rooms are being updated, but that the staff is still friendly and the rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The bar and restaurant downstairs have only gotten better over the years...check out happy hour and wine specials, but don't forget to reserve your table on the weekend.
The Dilly Delly and Starbucks next door are a great convenience, and the neighborhood is safe and lovely. Stroll around and explore. Don't forget to hit Graeter's for ice cream!
Mariemont is only 15-20 minutes from down town and the baseball/football stadiums, museums etc. Also Kenwood (best mall in town) and Blue Ash (many companies here) are about 10 minutes away.
There is some construction, but we only had noise for 10 minutes during our stay, and that was mid-morning. Otherwise it was blissfully quiet.
This isn't a glossy Hyatt, but the Mariemont Inn is a great value in a terrific neighborhood.
