The cottages are tucked away up a small driveway. The lobby area is all open to the outside and done in a nice wood theme. This is also the dining area. There are two free laptops for internet use. There are nice views from the upper lobby area down over the pool. The grounds are gorgeous. There is an abundance of flowers and bushes and hand manicured lawns. There are some nice thatched umbrellas on the beach. The pool is fantastic. Swimming in the morning was best as by afternoon the water really heated up. I stayed in an ocean front cottage. It was of nice size, clean, and well cared for. The bathroom was marble, large, with the regular amenity basket. A/C was quiet and efficient. The breakfast buffet was okay. You could get eggs cooked to order, and there was also pho available. The pho was the best bet. Meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits. There's a pretty good restarant scene right outside the hotel in the evenings. Good food for cheap. The staff weren't too bad. A little more reserved than in other hotels I stayed at in Vietnam. Mui Ne is spread out over one road wrapped around a bay. To travel any distance you'll need a bike or a scooter. Driving a scooter in Mui Ne is a piece of cake. There is an ramshackle fishing village directly next door to the hotel, and it goes on for a mile. The beach is really dirty and the water fouled. The worst I saw In Vietnam. I opted to do most of my swimming in the nice pool. The second row of cottages are just as nice for less, and they have great views also. I would go back, but only for two or three days. There is very limited night life in this town.

Rather disappointed with this Resort . Their website was rather misleading , stating it was Swiss owned and managed . If fact from what we could gather the manager was a Vietnamese boy of about 20 . While the Breakfast fare was quite good , the service was very sloppy and slow . At times having one staff to cater for 20 to 30 guest , a fresh coffee was hard to come by and the dining room a mess of dirty dishes . Our Beach front Bungalow was nice , but in desperate need of a 'little' maintainance and maybe some new furniture . Also stains on the bed cover and a TERRIBLE shower ! Not really worth the 100$ a night we paid. All in all , way over priced and poorly managed . PS . A pig farm is right next door .

Wir haben im Dezember 5 Tage in einem Beachfront Bungalow verbracht und uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Der Bungalow ist sehr urig, dazu aber zweckmässig. Neben dem Doppelbett hat ein Kinderreisebett Platz. Der Kleiderschrank war ein wenig klein, aber dies ist ehr typisch Vietnam, denn in einem 5Sterne Hotel war er auch nicht größer. Die Leute hier besitzen zumeist nicht so viele Sachen, wie wir für 3 Wochen mit in Urlaub nehmen. Die Zimmer (auch das Badezimmer) waren sauber und wir hatten keine Probleme mit Mücken. Ein Moskitonetz ist jedoch vorhanden. Der Garten ist sehr liebevoll angelegt und sehr üppig. Der Swimmingpool war allgemein beliebt und viel genutzt, aber nie überlaufen. Man fand immer einen Platz. Der Strand ist schmal und hier wurde es mit den Liegen manchmal eng., insbesondere da deutsche Touris ja Ihre Liegen reservieren und nur selten nutzen. Die Lage des Hotels war sehr schön. Zu Beginn (oder Ende)von Mui Ne (mit dem Taxi bis zu den Restaurants/Shops 10 min oder 50.000 Dong). Wir sind es auch am Strand abgelaufen und fanden, das wir die beste Wahl getroffen haben. Man konnte vom Resort leicht an den eigentlichen Strand. Hier findet wirklich noch Fischerleben in unmittelbarere Nähe statt; es kam auch mal eine Kuhherde vorbei und man konnte mitteldrin sein oder Betrachter von der Terasse aus. Dies war in keinem anderen Hotel so möglich. Jeden Morgen sind wir zum Sonnenaufgang aufgestanden, um den Fischern zuzusehen, die mit uns Wand an Wand lebten. Service im Hotel war sehr gut. Insbesondere an der Rezeption gab es einen Mitarbeiter, der sehr gut englisch sprach. Die meisten Gäste sind Deutsche (Meiers und Neckermann), aber es waren auch Australier dort und am Wochenende auch Einheimische. Das Restaurant empfanden wir nicht als sehr gut, für den Preis gibt es besseres. Als Tipp noch das Rung Forest Restaurant hat uns gut gefallen; die Pizzeria nebendran war sein Geld nicht wert und das Restaurant gegenüber schlicht und gut (wir bevorzugen jedoch, unser Essen nicht an der Straße direkt einzunehmen,was die meisten jedoch nicht stört. Der Transport nach/von Saigon /Nha Trang war top. Sehr gute Autos und der Fahrer ruhig und nicht hektisch. Bei den Ausflügen kann man die Fairy Springs zu Fuß vom Hotel unternehemn und der angebotenen Canyon ist gesperrt, wird aber überall angepriesen im Rahmen der Dünen. Für 35$ kann man auch mit dem Taxi die Fahrt zu den weißen Sanddünen machen. Unsere Jeeptour hatte den Nachteil, das der Jeep noch aus Kriegstagen war, unbequem, man bekommt die Abgase ab und den Staub der vielen anderen Jeeps und fährt jedoch nicht auf die Dünen. Also nichts, was ein normales Auto nicht kann. Jeep zumindest vor buchen anschauen und erst beim Zusteigen zahlen. Preisnachlass wegen geschlossenem Canyon aushandeln. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierherreisen und unser Sohn möchte auch wiederkommen. Alles in allem empfehlenswert.

While we had a couple of problems it did not mar our stay at the little mui ne, there was building next door but when asked by the management they did quieten dowm, all the way from Phan Thiet there is building work going on so i do not think this is anything like as bad as some resorts are. Our 2 bedroomed accomadation was clean and spacious, the staff could not have been more helpful or courteous.we enjoyed the food, but there are plenty of small resteraunts around or a short taxi ride away, depends what you want to do.we stayed for 3 weeks with a break to Saigon in between.As this was our first visit to Vietnam we have had a great time. Found the time from airport to resort was nearer 5 hours that 3.5 but enjoyed looking at the scenery and the comfort stop en route. everyone to their own but this holiday was great for us Jenny & Trevor (UK)
