I'm used to go to motels, because they are convenient, with an easy access, and not to expensive. I'm used to sleep in not so fancy rooms, and I'm ok with it. Actually, I'm just looking for places where to sleep, bottom line.
But i'm not used to dirty rooms with hairs everywhere on the sheets, weird odors, sticky walls and carpet, unpleasant staff, people smoking and talking right behind my door, even AFTER midnight...
Believe me, the Cocca's Inn is really the worse place I've ever been. Moreover, it's not even cheap! Don't go there, don't recommend it. If there's no room left in Albany except at this motel, you'd better forget it and sleep in your car.

Here is the deal with this hotel....Yes, if you are looking for elegant luxury this may not be the place for you.
If you are looking for a fun romantic good time with almost the feeling of the Pocono's-give this place a whirl!
As I have mentioned in previous reviews, I love a good bath! This place has many different types of rooms with different kinds of whirlpool tubs...Oval, heartshaped, super deep...I love them all!
Rooms have decent bedding (I would still remove the bed cover).
Some rooms even have a waterbed! The executive suites will cost you a bit more, but they are SUPER spacious and have nice kitchens. The room are cleaned to a standard that competes with any major chain hotel. No dust, no grime. Keep in mind that in my experience all rooms with hot tubs have at least a bit of musty odor...This is of minimal concern and is easily remedied with the scented candels I reccommend to enhance your hot tub experience...Yep...It's cheesy- But if a sexy time with a hot tub and a significant other is what you are after, this place deserves a chance!

We have stayed at the Wolf Road facility for Veteran's Day weekend 3 years now. The first two years we stayed upstairs in a jacuzzi room that had a sitting area, king bed and jacuzzi tub. The bathroom in this room was small with a small tub. We go shopping for 3 days in row and the jacuzzi tub is always relaxing at the end of the day. Other than the bathroom being small it was a great price for what is available in the Albany area. It is a little hard to get in and out of the motel from Wolf Road, but nothing that can't be handled.
If we headed to the motel from the South we just went to the light by Colonie Center and turned in the Barnes and Noble entrance and then back out onto Wolf Road to the motel entrance. To go north on Wolf Road we just turned left on Central and then go through the mall lot back to Wolf Road.
This year we stayed in the J-2 room that had a queen bed and huge bathroom with the Jacuzzi tub. The only issue is the shower is set up for handicap access so there was usually water on the floor from the shower. My suggestion would be to ask for rooms in the building with the office as they are newer.
If we go to Albany shopping again next year we will probably be staying there again.

Well I guess thisplace runs very hot or VERY COLD. According to the last reviewer, her husband CRIED because they were so nice?? I can't believe it. Who wrote that? The owner's mother?
I stayed here and won't be back. Days Inn, Motel 6, and Super 8, are much better. The staff was indifferent an the property was tired in spite of the recent "facelife". The bathroom I used was very small and needed a make-over. The tub backed up while showering. It could have been cleaner. The room smelled strange, maybe because the AC was oversized and constantly cycled on and off, making a shuddering noise each time. Very hard to sleep with it on. The room had a clammy damp feel to it. I also found the "breakfast' lacking. The coffee was awful and the rest of it was lacking any care.
There was lots of noise from the highway just outside. The property is boardered by the interstate and two on ramps and two very busy roads.
