This is place was not all that. I decided to spend my labor day weekend in Vicksburg at the Rainbow. The beds are not that comfortable, the bathrooms were small and the water lukewarm so I shiverred as I took as shower. The water in the pool was overchlorinated so badly that both my eyes and lungs were hurting. On the good side, the room itself was spacious but I cannot say the same for the tiny bathroom. The hotel staff was a bit rude to me when I was in the hot tub and they told me I had to leave because my cotton shirt was gonna leave lint and jam up the filter. The selection of TV channels was good. Overall, it is a not the best place to stay. It has a decent design, no elevator. It is less than mediocre.

Stoped in Vicksburg on the way home from Florida. Just picked a casino hotel on the river for ease. It was $55, which is cheapo so I didn't expect much. Bedding was clean and that was all we needed, a place to crash for the night. Beds were hard!! The rooms were not filthy but not emaculant either. Air conditioner worked well. Buffet was not good. Pool was indoors and seemed clean. Overall, for the price and what we needed, it worked.

This was an okay place to stay, room was small but very comfortable, nice indoor pool. Felt very safe. Continental breakfast available. Beautiful view of the mighty Mississippi River. Would stay there again.

I'd definitely stay here again. We book 3 nights during the week using our players card from the casino and rec'd a $49.00 rate. We asked for and received a room looking over the river.
We only experienced a few negatives at the hotel. The continental breakfast is PROMPTLY put away at the scheduled time. Do not be late. I never receive any extra towels that I requested each day. And, there is no elevator service so if you don't want to lug all you stuff up the stairs make sure you get a ground floor room.
The buffet in the Casino was not incredibly great. I actually prefered the PO'Boy sandwiches at the deli in the casino. And, of course, I didn't win in the Casino.
Overall, we had a good time and would stay and visit again!

Re: Our 3-nt. stay in Wendover, NV. On your website, you advertise "Seniors" being entitled to a $4.00 discount at the Rainbow Buffet. When we tried to use this advertised rate, we were told by the front clerk that "that has changed". She would not honor it.
Also, the front clerk personnel were totally unknowledgeable about the city. The personnel in the "Information" booth did not give out information on how your Player's Card worked. They stated that the "Passport" dollars could be used in the Gift Shop. The Gift Shop would not honor my Passport dollars when making a purchase in the Gift Shop. Poor internal personnel communication to customers of the Rainbow Casino and Hotel.
