Me and friend booked our room at westgate for a friends party and had a wonderful experience. The room was really nice and the staff was even better. A lot going on in the area with jet skis and parasailing and concierge to point you in all the right directions. The pool bar and dj and areas for the kids was also really nice. Will definately be coming back.

We had a great stay and the location worked well for both beach and entertainment. It was clean and the staff is the best on the beach. We were down with our church group and everyone wants to return again in the fall.

We are just leaving and we had a great time. The business center (using it now) came in very handy as well as the free wireless in the hotel. Fireworks Wednesday night in front of the resort were perfect and viewed from our balcony!
I can't say enough about the thoughtful and friendly staff, more than willing to go the extra mile for our kids (they loved the activities and the kids water park). What a great staff! We will be back. Couldn't leave without taking a moment to thank them for their hospitality.

My family were here three nights checking in on Monday. The hotel ammenities were misleading. There are full, not queen beds in the rooms. None of the ice machines work. We booked two rooms more than a month in advance, but were placed on separate floors. The parking is bad, of course. I had a cabinet door completely off and placed leaning against the wall. My mother had peices of wood in her bathtub upon arrival. The staff dismissed these complaints by stateing the had no other room to put us in. They claim indoor pool which doesn't exist. The outdoor pools were dirty and cloudy. They claim full size refridgerators, but we both had minis. My view consisted of a huge ugly palm tree not of the ocean. The bar staff charged different prices for the same drink and the drinks were terrible every time. The rooms did have coffee makers as promised, but stuck in the cabinet without an outlet. When I called downstairs inquiring about extra sugar and cream, the staff was dumbfounded as to where to locate these. I gave up. As for the children's activities, I did see a sign with a schedule as well as a sign designated as the "meeting area for activities" but the "activity staff" were non-existant. I would think if they wanted participation from kids that don't know them, they would have made themselves available around the pools to get to know the kids and to "sell" their activities. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone planning a family vacation. If you are going and need somewhere to sleep without much expectations, this hotel will suffice.
