It's definitely quirky. We liked that we could have two bedrooms for the price of a small place in a chain hotel. Sure it's old, but it's kind of neat that way. The linens were clean. The towels were clean. It's run by a guy and his wife, and honestly they keep it cleaner than I keep my own house. For a motel built in the 50's (maybe?), and not modified, we thought it was a unique experience. Both rooms had TVs, nice for the family. There was also a clean microwave and fridge. Our family enjoyed it, even without a pool.

Avoid this place! Here is a list of the items we found under the bed as we were checking the room for our last items as we were leaving:
- large balls of dust
- an extra TV remote
- a dirty sock
- a baby bottle half-filled with soured milk
The room was minimally clean otherwise with rickety beds and a stained bathroom. This was third class accomodations at a first class price. I wanted to go take a shower AFTER we checked out.
Never again.
