Just returned from a 3 day conference at Burleigh Court and I must say I was very impressed with the venue, I've stayed a few times now and the old style rooms have just (finally) been refurbed and are now the same as the Executive Rooms.
The leisure club is fantastic, and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
I'm back in a couple of months and really looking forward to it!

I have been to Loughborough on business quite a lot over the past three years and BC is my 1st choice of stay. It is clean, hotel staff are helpful and meals are OK.

Before writing this I have sent a feedback e-mail to the hotel but they have not responded. My room cost ?103 for one night (Room 43) It had a three-quarter bed and was not very spacious. The decor is tired and the bathroom which is accessible to wheelchair users has a shower only and is shabby and institutional looking - shades of a public disabled toilet. There is a constant noise from the central heating which sounds like water rushing through pipes. I told reception in the morning that I had a terrible night with the noise their response was that they would contact maintenance. The evening meal (at extra cost) I had was mediocre. Parma ham and melon starter two measley plasticky slices of parma ham and bullet like melon, followed by a ravioli pasta that was drab and flabby - no parmesan. This is not an acceptable standard for hotel charging ?103 per night B&B. I can only conclude that the management are complacent due to the lack of similar facilities in Loughborough.

My company uses this venue for our training courses so I have stayed here a few times, although the rooms are not massive (I stay in a doule room) they are more than adequate for my needs and are very nicely decorated. However I believe that the single rooms located in what they tearm "The Lodge" are very small, but I have never stayed in one.
The whole place is very smart and appears very modern and well finished, however I think that the majority of guests are there on "buisness", that said I would definatly stay there if I was in Loughborough for reasons other than buisness.
The leisure complex is also very nice with swimming pool, sauna, steam and jacoozi, the gym looks well equiped however I have never felt that energetic to give it a try !!
The bar/Lounge area is very spacious and has a nice relaxed feel, there are plenty of screens available if you wish to watch the T.V and the bar itself seemed well stocked and the service was good. Then there is the restaraunt which is again spacious and is slightly more formal (but not too much) than the bar area, and whenever I have eaten there the food has been fantastic !!!! That includes breakfast - self service, Lunch - selections from a hot plate, Evening Meal - waiter service.......ALL of which were REALLY good.
All in all I enjoy my short stays here and I really can't think of any bad points, I have always been treated well and my room has always been acceptable. The best bit is the food though !!!

The chap from room 24 was spot on. I had the misfortune to be right next to the tiled main corridor in room 21 and I wanted to kill every single person walking down that corridor with heels on. It drove me insane.
The room was the equivalent of a 2-star - cheap horrid basic furniture and a bathroom you have to edge your way sideways to get in.
But there was an iron, comfy bed, wireless internet and biscuits and I thought the staff were quite pleasant.
Food was mixed - some days it was inedible and sometimes it was lovely.
It is exactly like a halls of residence.
It has a large modern gym, and is an OK place to stay if you are on a works freebie and just there to get conference-drunk and watch some powerpoint during the day.
