Good price and good location --- However don't expect much more. The Management staff was not pleasant at all. When we got to the hotel to check in around 3:45 pm—we were told that the room was not ready and that did not know when it would be ready. I asked for another room and then was told that it would be about 30 to 45 minute before we could check in. She stated that they were short handed and the maintained guy would perhaps have to get our room together. There were two floors to the suite with out an elevator. . We notice that some of the suites allowed dogs to stay. In other words, This place allows pets. My husband was bothered by the hallway smelled like a wet puppy and dog crap. This would perhaps be okay for the dog lovers – but our room should not have that doggie smell if I did not have a dog traveling along. This well-equipped suite was not properly cleaned. And, when you run the air conditioner it blows the drapes open which did not leave us feeling safe or secure. On our second night we arrived back to the room and found that the beds weren't made, the trash was not removed and there were no clean towels. Besides that there were bugs in the room crawling! I went down to ask about the room and the staff was ambivalent to our concerns. Very unhelpful and then said that after she finish with whatever she as doing that she was come up and clean it. We waited around, then later a little young girl knocks on the door and gave my husband some towels. No one even came to clean the room or to remove the trash. This was unacceptance---There needs to be some changes to this hotel---Quickly! The Manager does not manage the property in a professional way -- it is more like a "mom and pop" shop, as opposed to a hotel for the corporate or leisurely traveler. Kids of the some workers were playing up and down the hallway. The front manager was talking so personal to her friends and family that we feel like we were intruding when we ask a question. All in All, the stay will not to be repeated by this frequent traveler.

Older but clean and close to shopping. No elevator, rental by the day, week or month. Full size refrigerator, small stove, microwave, silverware some pots and pans, dishes. Comfortable room-friendly staff

I just got back from a trip where I stayed at the Home-Towne Suites in Clarksville, TN. I was very impressed. The hotel is not like a normal hotel. It has kitchens in the rooms and it is more like home. THe staff was great and I could not have been more satisfied with my stay
