We stayed here years ago when it was a Howard Johnson property and a very decent place it was back then. Times have changed! A man from India bought this place, along with 2 others. It's obvious he doesn't put anything back into it. The room we were assigned, #217, was filthy. I told the manager that we either wanted our money back or at least a clean room. We were informed that a refund was not an option. After a search of other rooms, none of which were made up or cleaned, we were given an "executive suite". This room was probably the best they had. The carpet was semi decent and the beds had been made. The bath tub was very dirty so the manager cleaned it with some bleach and a wash cloth. I asked the manager why the place was so run down and dirty and he informed me the owner refused to hire any help other than homeless people for which he offered a free room in exchange for their services. Well, you do get what you pay for!

my mother,daughter myself with our spouses went to lewiston for my nieces graduation . we checked in at the motel at noon we were told the rooms were not all the way ready so we told them we would not be back till around 5. they gave my daughter her key and she said in her room the toilet looked like it hadnt been cleaned in months but she said maybe they will go clean it they didnt i looked in 5 rooms when i went back and told them i refuse to stay in a room that the beds had been made but not changed the sheets had hair on them all 5 rooms the toilets all had [--] all over them smelled bad we were told that the owner hired people off the streets to clean for cheap. we were told we wouldnt be charged on our cards we were now were in the process of trying to get refunded on credit cards. the owner hasnt returned calls about the matter. out side other rooms you could see people that i think live there outside drinking i wouldnt ever stay here again and i hope no one else does till the owners clean it up. this place is a health hazard.

I didn't want to spend to much money. The place used to be a Howard Johnson when I stayed there once before a long time ago. The rooms were clean and they had free wifi. The breakfast was sufficiant and the staff was really nice. They even had a free computer in the lobby if you don't have a laptop.

I stayed here a couple of night while on a business trip. The room I was in was clean with plenty of space. The staff were more then helpfull and were very accommodating. The location is ideal, plenty of food places nearby. I will be staying here on my next business trip.

Lewiston Inn and Suites, March 16-18, 2007, Took a 7th grade basketball team to an AAU tournament. I travel 200 nights a year and this is the WORST hotel, I've ever seen: ·30 minutes to check into 5 reserved rooms ·All rooms (even non smoking) had STRONG smoke/pet odor . Assigned room smelled like a kennel, absolutely unusable . Another 20 minutes in office to get room changed ·Room keys didn’t work .Finally gave us a master key (KEY OPENED ALL ROOMS IN HOTEL!) ·Two of five rooms were not made up at 430pm, maids were leaving o Maids stayed late to make up rooms ·Short of towels, dryer broken o Went and bought our own towels ·Pool and hot tub inoperable and full of trash ·Missing remote in room Broken deadbolts in some rooms ·LOADED SYRINGE FOUND IN ROOM UNDER MICROWAVE! ·Breakfast offering: coffee, and three wilted waffles, on Saturday 17 March 07 oCoffee, two English muffins, three waffles, on Sunday 18 March 07 ·Internet access only in Lobby/Breakfast area ·Bars next door noisy, police activity at 2am.
