First of all, the location is perfect. It is very near Asok (BTS) and therefore, Sukhumvit (MRT). Hence, Lumphini, Silom, Siam, Chidlom, Chatuchak stations are just a single line away. Convenient.
24hr supermarket is nearby. You can cook in your room. Cooking utensils and essential diningware are provided. There is microwave too.
There are simple gym and swimming pool with sundeck on the highest floor. No frills, but good enough.
Free internet access. I'm happy with this because lots of other five stars hotels in Bangkok are still having this chargeable.
Oh, it is quiet on the weekend too. There is a cozy coffee shop next door. Lots of expatriates go there bringing over their laptops and sit for hours.
Not many hotels having such a good cost-performance in the proximity (Nana BTS, Asok BTS, Sukhumvit MRT):- either it is too expensive for luxurious rooms and excess services I do not need, or, the room is too shabby even though the rate is much lower. The hotel itself might not be perfect with lack of toiletries (only soap, bath gel and conditioning shampoo provided) and lack of fancy buffet breakfast, but to me, it is simply worth the price.
I stayed in a studio executive. Staying there again in Aug08.

Nothing special and over priced for BKK standards.

This hotel is located near Asoke. Soi 16 starts a little bit behind from Asoke and doesn’t really have any connection with Shukumvit… (quite odd isn’t it : ) ).
This hotel is very modest by BKK standards… The entrance is located near the parking… quite an odd choice… the entrance hall is very tiny too.
I had picked a one bedroom flat… all rooms are very tiny… tiny living room, tiny room with barely enough room for the bed, and tiny bathrooms… Over all the one bed room must be 30 sq m.
The problem is that services are nonexistent… the restaurant sucks… and the breakfast also sucks… actually I was the only one having it … I should have felt the trap!
There is an ok pool on the roof…
Overall considering all the cheap 5 stars hotel that exists in BKK I don’t really see any reason to go to this place… it the price was the half it would be ok… but at 2500 baths or 3000 baths per night, it’s a no go …
