Lemon Tree is Fantastic, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast is served from 6.30 untill 11.45 every day. Good selection from Indian to English. Great coffee. Rooms are spacious and all mod cons. Bar prices are reasonable but not as cheep as the many resturants, beach shack. Cows marander down the beach and at the side of the road but thats India!!! Dont take white clothes the iron ore in the soil and sand stains very thing orange. So cheep for gifts and Ladies if you love handbags you'll have a ball. Enjoyed it so much we will be retuning, worth spending a little more on a good quality hotel as some that we looked at while we were there are poor.
Not the Taj

A bit pricey for it's class. For a couple of '000 more one can stay at the Taj Village ( which becomes a value deal when you consider the meals).
Over all experience was pleasant and the managment and staff were efficient, polite and helpful.
Garden Rooms, comfortable and reasonably well appointed. Bathrooms could have been kept a little cleaner.
Walking past the Kitchen to get to the Cafe / Pool / reception is not such a good idea. May be you could rearrange that inconvienence.
You could also spruce up and beautify the walk to the Beach. May be put in some Solar Path lights, so that one can take a walk after sun down.
Kiddies care ???? Just a little play area, badly located near the Pool, need some staff for Day care. More things for the Kiddies to do.
Culnary experience leaves much to be desired. Whilst in Goa must eat Goan (which wasn't upto the mark)and ofcourse SEAFOOD. Which really means eating out at the many options sprinkled around the North. Which only accentuates my gripe, that it was a bit pricey for it's class. In Goa, one prefers eating out, which is why we stayed at lemon tree, as against the Taj ( package includes meals). Mr. Keswani, given this you need to correct your package rates to represent a Value deal.
Even though it isn't the Taj, it was a nice Holiday. After the initial disappointment the Hotel, its staff and hospitality grow on you.

We are just back from our honeymoon in the lemon tree hotel. we had a great time there, the staff were very friendly couldn't be more helpful. The room was beautiful and cleaned twice a day if you wanted it. Food was great in both, the hotel and in the republic of noodles. The pool was clean all the time, and the staff were always on hand to clean it. Could not have asked for anymore and will be back next year. Would recommend the lemon tree hotel, we had nothing to complain about.

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the hotel staff before we got out of our taxi. The staff here made our visit, they were extremely curtious and literally bent over backwards to accomodate us. I wasnt even allowed to wait for my toast to pop from the toaster in the mornings!
The hotel itself was beautiful, a great swim up bar (although drinks were a bit expensive) they seemed to have an overflow of staff that cleaned the tiles with a toothbrush! It was very clean and very comfortable. The rooms were large and v clean, and each morning we would have some decorative ornament on the bed, i,e. towels made into swans etc.
The restaurant was v v tasty and we really enjoyed it, but compared to the prices on the street it was very expensive. When I came back to Oz I received an email from the restaurant thanking me for dining there! such a nice gesture i thought.
So to sum up, i would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone, my husband and I will def be back for sure.
Goa is an amazing unspolit area well Condolim is anyway, if you are young and are looking to party make sure you check out Baga beach, its CRAZY there!
Hope this helps
