Easy to get to from airport and close to just about everything in Dublin. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is a bit confusing to get around but well worth it.

Avoid at all costs on Friday nights when the pub downstairs is open. The sound-proofing is virtually non-existent, and things didn't really quiet down until well past midnight, when the desk staff assured us it would be quiet. Also, there was construction going on next door, so it was noisy during the afternoon of our arrival when I was trying to nap. Rooms otherwise are adequate and clean, and the location is really terrific. The front-desk staff can't be bothered. We tried in vain for days to get an extra pillow, and were assured that we would get one that day, but it never arrived. We had planned to stay in the same hotel at the tail end of our trip, but decided to stay elsewhere. You can definitely find a better hotel for the money.

Lors de notre séjour à l’hôtel Georgian l’automne dernier, j’ai été TRES déçue. L’hôtel fait négligé, les chambres sont assez usées et mal éclairées, et l’ensemble est assez vieux et étouffant. Comme nous sommes arrivés un vendredi, au pub d’en-bas, il y avait une fête et c’était tellement fort qu’on avait l’impression que c’était dans la chambre d’à côté. Le petit déjeuner servi au pub n’était pas terrible. J’ai eu l’impression désagréable et irritante de m’être fait avoir par une pub mensongère, l’hôtel prétendant être beaucoup mieux qu’il n’est en réalité. Si on recherche un hôtel à bas prix, cela peut aller, mais pas pour le touriste ordinaire. Les escaliers sont très raides, l’hôtel est réparti sur plusieurs bâtiments et on n’a quasiment jamais réussi à trouver notre chambre du premier coup. Le personnel de la réception n’est pas très sympa et j’ai eu le sentiment que c’était en majorité des étudiants sans aucune formation hôtelière, pour qui c’était juste un job de vacances. Ce n’est pas un hôtel à recommander. Il vaut mieux en choisir un autre.

Cet hôtel est TRES basique, très vieillot, surévalué et VRAIMENT trop cher pour ce qu’il est. Il est relativement propre et central (à une cinquantaine de mètres de Saint Stevens Green). Les photos de leur site sont TRES trompeuses, car en fait il est dans une rue passagère. Nous avions une chambre côté cour, dont la fenêtre donnait sur le toit. Le mobilier de la chambre était démodé, on aurait dit une chambre d’enfant des années 70. Je vous conseille vraiment de faire l’impasse sur cet hôtel, qui n’a rien d’un trois étoiles, à moins que vous n'arriviez vraiment pas à trouver de chambre de libre. Je joins quelques photos.

We stayed at the Georgian Hotel in autumn of last year, and I was VERY disappointed. The house has a scruffy look, the rooms are worn and rather dark, it all feels a bit old and stuffy; we arrived on a Friday so the pub underneath had a party, and it sounded as if the party was right in the room next door. The breakfast wasn't rally great, it was served in the pub. I had an angry feeling that the hotel was presented for so much more than it actually is. It might be okay for low budget travelers, but nothing for normal, average tourists. The staircases were very tough, the hotel itself sprawls over various houses, and we usually got lost while trying to find our room. Front desk staff were not very friendly, and I had the feeling that they were mostly students with no hotel education, who just had some kind of holidy job. Not to be recommended. Go somewhere else.
