We arrived the hotel slightly after noon. We had booked 2 rooms online and the check in was swift. We were given our keys and had to drive to our rooms because it was very far away from the lobby.
We were very dissapointed when we reached the vicinity of our rooms as it was very deserted and FAR away from the swimming pool or any amenities.
The staircase leading to our rooms were dark and very eerie, even though the sun was balzing hot outside. When we went into our rooms, to our surprise one of the rooms were not made up and stank of cigarette smoke. Used towel were on the chair and the toilet was unflushed. There was NO phone in the room so we had to use our mobile to contact the reception.
The other room was made up but the bedsheets and pillowcase were extremely dirty. We immediately went to the reception to ask for a replacement room. We were given 2 connecting rooms at the same vicinity but were told that we had to wait for the rooms to be made.
We had lunch outside the hotel and came back 3 hours later to find the new rooms allocated to us not to our satisfaction as it stank. We informed the reception we do not want to stay in the hotel as it does not represent what we saw on the website.
When we asked if we would be charged, the receptionist said that they have to check with the agent who did the booking. We were surprised because we had booked directly through the hotel's website, but the hotel said that the website belonged to an agent.
We managed to find another hotel (Eagle Ranch Resort) which was way better then Palm Springs Resort.
What dissappointed me was that we were charged 50% of the room charge. I had sent various email to the agent and I received abt 2 replies informing me of their cancellation policy. But when I requested for the manager to call me or for the direct line for me to call the agent, my emails were left unanswered and the next thing i knew i received my credit card statement with the 50% room charge.
lesson learnt. i will never go back there again.

Don't believe what you see on their website!!! We stayed in the 3-room apartment and we were deeply upset with the cleanliness, value and service of this resort!!!
I was not only horrified to see cockcroaches on the floor, they were even behind me when I sat on the coach and imagine those flying around!!! Lights in the toilet and living room were not working, doors "eaten" to 3/4 size by white ants, bedsheets were dirty (I even found cockcroaches' droppings on my bed!), blankets were missing, floors littered and some parts again covered by cockcroaches'droppings, microwave is absent though promised by the staff there that there is one, no water heater in master bedroom, the spings of 2 extra beds as well as 1 queen sized bed were terribly loosened that we suffered backaches the next morning, no sheets on the extra beds (of course no blankets and pillows), etc...
Service is horrible too. We called their reception using our mobile phone (yes, no internal phone as well) and told a male staff that we needed 2 pillows and 2 blankets. In total, we called 3 times within a period of 2 hours' waiting to have the housekeeping guy knocked on our door at about midnight. Guess what he asked??!! "What do you want?". Imagine that we have already repeated 3 times over the phone???!!!
All in all, I was appalled by the state of this apartment and all my friends and I swear that we will NEVER return to this golf resort!!!!

DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU HAVE CAR! 15 minutes driving to beach. Room is good. Atmosphere around hotel buildings not good (most buildings empty and a bit run-down). Facilities (pool, etc) not very clean. New name is "Palm Springs Resort". Distance from rooms to facilities far to walk (1km) & no hotel-provided transport.
