Very nice hotel and weather. Rooms are small for a 5* hotel. Don't go with 2 kids over 9-10 yrs. Pool excellent. Entertainment is poor. I was on the beach to other resorts, much better entertainment. The beach is very nice with sand, no rocks or stones. Toilette is a little far, but OK. English of personell is very poor, and kindness of reception desk it can be better. Food is ok and a lot of varieties, except steaks and meat. Air conditioner is not working all the time, very embarassing to wake up wet in the middle of the night. Overall is ok, but for sure can improove.

We just stayed 1 week in this so called 5 star All Inclusive Resort. Upon check-in it started with not having the right rooms for the first 2 nights. They offered some compensation which was ok but not more then that. They make you sign so when you get back you cannot file a complaint about that.
The airconditioning was not working (only as a fan) and in order to get some sleep you had to leave your window or balconydoor open as much as possible, but then you hear all the noises from outside.
The pools (inside and outside) were not heated and therefore I did not swim at all and my daughter was shivering all the time.
The Guestrelations people were not very competent and some even spoke very bad English (which is a problem throughout the whole hotel). The people working in the lobbybar, the restaurants and from the entertainment were very nice, though most of them did not speak much English. They were also very helpfull.
The rooms were not vacu?emd very often and under my bed I found an old receipt from last year among other things! Also the tiled floor in the bathroom was hardly cleaned the way it should. The public areas of the hotel were cleaned much better.
The slides were only open 1,5 hours per day and though many people complained about that they were not willing to change that.
The animation in the evening was nice. The minidisco was fun but without any notice at a different spot all the time, so my daughter missed the first dances a couple of times.
Internet on my own laptop was a dissaster. The first few days I was able to read my emails but after 4 days they changed something and there was no connection possible anymore. So for business people I would for sure not recommend this hotel.
The food: the quality was ok. The line was very long and some people feel they don't have to stand in the line!! The left-overs were allways used in the next meal, which is ok, but the variety ......... (which variety???).
I hade a great week, but that was mainly not because of the hotel in spite a few good things (icecream in the afternoon and a few very nice and helpfull people) but because me and my family had lots of fun spending this week together (we were with a total of 19 people because of my fathers 80st birthday).
By the way: handling a bigger group like ours was also not easy for them!

Fame looks like a 5 star hotel but if you want to go into details its comparable to a Howard Johnsons. We stayed two weeks in March none of the pools outside were prepared for the winter tourists and the evening entertainment could have been more entertaining. We really did have a wonderful time and the staff were most helpful. Except of course for the Public relations. We had booked the shuttle bus to Antalya but it was my job to gather the interested guests for the journey. Unfortunately our shuttle bus was canceled because four people backed out so I went with my daughter and we stood out on the street for more than 30 minutes to take a dolmus to Antalya. By the way, it is a real drag to drive to Antalya with the dolmus. If your lucky and can get a seat than it is a comfortable ride but if not you have to stand the whole time and with children its no fun. Later when we came back to Fame we had bumped into some of the guests who had driven with the shuttle bus that morning. It seems at the public relations the woman had lied to me and told me the bus wouldn't drive. I guess she was too lazy to organize anything. So be really careful and demand a shuttle bus even when the PR tells you its not driving that morning. Of course there are minor things to complain about to inform the new guests. During the meal times its important to be very patient about searching for knives and forks. The waiters are extremly under pressure and are not fast enough to clear the tables and set the tables. The spa area is very nice and slippery so be CAREFUL. During our stay one child broke her foot and two other women slipped and fell badly. If you fall in the hotel you have to pay for your own doctors visit. So be prepared to pay because the hotel won't pay for your accidents in THEIR hotel. The indoor pool is super fun for kids and its nice to relax ,lounge around, read a book and grab a drink at the socalled vitamin bar. The pool personel are friendly but please speak german. The pool is clean except for the hidden lines of scum that only homemakers find. One section of the pool is obvious neglected. The Hamam is beautiful and relaxing. Please don't let your children go alone with their friends in the Hamam because there are perverts. I was maybe five minutes alone in the Hamam when an older man came in and started to play with his thing in front of me. I told the staff and I had the impression that this could be normal in Turkey like in Greece. Another warning , there are many Israelis and Arab families here and they are very LOUD. Just remeber every culture is different and just ignore them if they seem threatening. They can be very impatient and like to cut in line. All in all it was an easy going stay and for most moms its a real vacation because we don't have to cook or clean. The food was good our room was always clean and the beach is very comfortable and well kept. The mini club is geared more for smaller children. Kids up to eight years old might find it boring. If you really have complaints go straight to the manager they will try and clear up all the problems and you'll get a basket of fruit and bottle of wine sent to your room just for the hassle. Spring water bottles are always available in the room as well as a water cooker for preparing tea and coffee. You don't need to bring any sauna and beach towels. Every person is giving a towel card. Don't lose it because it will cost you 10 Euro. You just give up your card at the towel locations and they will give you a fresh towel and also a pestimel for the Hamam. The outdoor shopping market across the street is a real rip off and they only want Euro. If you want to do fun shopping in Antalya check out the side streets you get a better deal and you pay in Lira. Check out the Antalya museum and take the trolley. Its fun for kids and they can see skeletons and beautiful old stautues. The museums tourist shop is also worth a visit. Have fun!

Stayed in the fame residence from 9/27-30 .
The staff barely knew english, when i asked what were the flavors of the slushies at the bar, they gave me what i asked about.... i ended up going back to the pool with like 5 cups.
The hotel itself is very beautiful, clean and well invested in.
I lost my room card on the 2nd day, and when i went to the front desk, they were very mean and i felt that i was doing something wrong when asking for a new one.
the pools and spa are great.... and the beach is wonderful as well :)
the hotel provides free vodka, which is definetly a big plus :)
overall i would recommend staying at the Fame residence.
