Hotel verdaderamente lejos del centro, esta a 5 km pero de la salida de la ciudad, las habitaciones son frias no esta constantemente climatizadas, aunque estaban bastante limpias las habitaciones tenian problemas con una plaga de hormigas que espero que solucionen, ademas la cama era pequeña 1,35 asi como un baño como decirlo, acogedor? por no decir pequeño donde no cabia ni la bañera, un hotel de 3 estrellas con plato de ducha?. No se lo recomendaria a nadie. Proporcion calidad precio muy mala

Meine Frau und ich buchten 4 Übernachtungen in diesem Hotel als Teil einer Andalusien-Rundreise. Grund war die Hoffnung auf ein ruhiges Plätzchen etwas abseits des Verkehrs. Immerhin stimmte zumindest letzteres - gut 5 km fährt man bis ins Zentrum Cordobas, entweder per Auto oder mit dem Bus, dessen Haltestelle allerdings ca. 800m entfernt ist. Von "ruhig" kann hingegen keine Rede sein. Davon, dass im Hotel gerade eifrig gebaut wurde, wusste man wohl nichts im spanischen Reisebüro. Darüber hinaus hatten wir das Pech, ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoß zu bekommen - meiden Sie unbedingt die Zimmernummern 151-156. Die rücksichtslos laute Rezeption läßt sie sonst bis tief in die Nacht nicht zur Ruhe kommen. Auch der Service kann nur als abschreckendes Beispiel dienen. Zweimal erhielten wir völlig falsche Auskünfte zu Öffnungszeiten örtlicher Restaurants und standen daraufhin vor verschlossenen Türen. Als wir abends in der Hotelcafeteria zwei einfache Sandwiches bestellten, dauerte es 50 (!!!) Minuten, bis das Essen vor uns stand. Das Hotel scheint übrigens nur als kurzzeitiger Schlafplatz zu dienen - eine Fußballmannschaft und eine französische Reisegruppe blieben nur je eine Nacht. Sie wussten wohl, warum...

Dans le cadre d'un autotour Nouvelles Frontières. Très bel hotel, une chouette piscine (non testée) mais vraiment loin du centre. Un bus pas trop loin (non testé) mais 10 minute de grimpette quand même. Petit couac sur le service mais une superbe vue sur la ville !

We went to the Al Mihrab hotel in Cordoba in March 2004 because it was recommanded in a "Charming Hotels" guide and because the price was okay (65 EUR / double). The hotel is some 5 km from downtown Cordoba, on a green hillside at the very end of the Brillante avenue (where some of the best restaurants in town are located). The hotel lies in a large garden area, with terrasses, pool, tennis court and other amenities, and the location is silent and has great views down to Cordoba. So far, so good - unfortunately, we were rather deceived when we saw the hotel from the inside. One has the impression that this hotel is not really looked after neither by the employees (which are otherwise quite friendly) nor by the management, and there very so many small things that obviously needed repair (windows that do not close properly, a heating system that does not work - and winter may be fresh in this part of Andalusia!). Breakfast was okay but the covered terrass where it was served was not convincing either. Perhaps it was due to the cold and rainy weather but our overall impression was clearly: below average. A good thing is that there is ample space around to park your car (but you need it to drive downtown, if you do not want to take the urban bus line that stops some 500 m away).
