This very new hotel is conveniently adjacent to Tokyo station's Nihonbashi exit, which means it's handy for transportation; JR, subway, shinkansen, and Narita express trains are all available within a relatively short walking distance. Since the hotel is also part of the JR group you can book shinkansen tickets with the concierge.
It can be a litttle hard to find the hotel since Tokyo station is so huge. Make sure you know where you're going before arriving! The attractive multistory open lobby is on the 27th floor of the Sapia Tower office building and rooms are on floors above, so views of the city are terrific.
Since the hotel is so new, rooms and facilities are stylish, pristine, and comfortable. My single room was a little small but perfectly serviceable. Free internet service is provided. There's a refrigerator stocked with bottled water every day but there's no minibar. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of Japanese and western foods.
The hotel definitely feels oriented to business clientele with its quiet, officelike atmosphere and understated service. However, there seemed to be a few tourists -- mostly Japanese -- staying there too. For the money it was a great deal compared to other similar-class hotels in the area, but it's not a hotel you'd want to hang around in for the atmosphere or action.
