After booking a triple room we were looking forward to a one night stay in Harrogate. On arrival we were taken to a small room with only enough room for two single beds yet a camp bed was squeezed in.Being next door to the staff room on one side and cleaning cupboard on the other we had to endure talking and noise all the time. The room 210 was without bulbs in main light also in bathroom, which had cracked hand basin and bath. Used plasters on bedroom also. Told reception but no joy, still waiting for light bulbs. Breakfast poor. Stayed before but never again! Avoid.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel in the past 18 months. The location is superb as it is adjacent to the International Centre and easy walking distance to the town, station, parks and Betty's !
The room we were allocated on our first visit was small and not very welcoming however the room we were allocated on this visit was much improved and could not be faulted.Breakfast is excellent and attention to detail and service were very good.
Plenty of hotel parking and staff very helpful and polite. We did a very good deal with lastminute.com which was considerably cheaper than booking direct with the hotel.

We booked this hotel through Late Rooms for an overnight stay whilst in Harrogate on business this weekend. We didn't expect too much and are really happy to say that we were extremely pleasently surprised by the standard of service, the friendliness of the staff and in particular, the amazing food! We had planned to eat out, but after a long day decided to try out the hotel restaurant. Whilst the restaurant itself is pretty basic, the food was fantastic. The rib-eye steak melted in the mouth (no steak knife required!!) and we have found the ultimate chocolate fondant desert!! One of us is coeliac and the chef came to our table to reassure us that the chosen dishes were gluten free and that he ensures that all his recipes are gluten free where possible. The personal touch was appreciated, but the food out shone everything! We understand that refurbishments are planned, and can only say that we look forward to staying at the Kimberly again.
A lovely, welcoming and friendly place.

We normally stay at The Holiday Inn and thought after reading some good reviews would give the Kimberley a try BIG Mistake! We had room 205, small a little tatty and the noise was terrible. Had to call reception at 12pm to ask if the fans in the kitchen could be switched off so we could get some sleep two more phone calls later this was done. 6am we were woken by the kitchen staff arriving and making everybody's breakfast. The toilet was cracked along with the bath. You need an umbrella to stand at the bar as there is a leak in the ceiling. Informed the manager of the problems we had encounted but I don'nt think she really cared. Still waiting for a response from them. If your thinking of staying in Harrogate do not stay here!!

check in was excellent , the reception spoke very good english she was polite and friendly , we requested a room with a view and also a themed room, we were on the second floor room 303 which was a thai themed room the decor was beautiful a big big king sized bed a sitting area looking out the window and a very large bathroom with a big corner shower and lovely big bath with room for 2 !! everything was clean and looked recently decorated.
the bar was open to all but only residents after 11 pm when everything went on your room tab. The breakfast was nice but we did have a bit of a wait for sausages , mushrooms and bacon on the morning but the staff were very polite and said things would be a few minutes.
the hotel was in easy walking distance of harrogate you turn right out of the doors. we could not fault this hotel at all deserves 5 stars.
