We visited this hotel on 17th May till 20th May. We had a low budget so what we were looking for was something affordable, clean, simple and on good location. And we found exactly that. Nothing more, nothing less. The twin room although a corner one was ok and clean. The only slight problem was that it was a bit hot. We were on the second floor at the side of the road but we had no noise problem.
The staff was very friendly. While we stayed there we were served by 4 different receptionists. All were very friendly and willing to answer all questions. We had to leave at 3:30 am to go to the airport and the receptionist booked us a cab and it all went well with that.
The only downside was that one of the receptionist gave us false information on something very basic: when we asked if there are any shops open on Sunday (we had seen Galleries Lafayette were closed on sundays) he seemed surprised and said "all of them!". We said well we saw that Lafayette is closed. He said "no no where did you see that?" We said "at the Gallery's entrance!". He insisted we were wrong, but obviously we were right.
Other than that, this hotel is a good choice if you have low budget and ask for something comfortable in goo location.

After reading the reviews of this hotel i was shocked and disgusted, tried my very best to cancel, unfortunetly i booked a package deal so they would not allow me even though i just wanted to change hotels,i emailed the manager and told him about all the reviews i had read he asked for my telephone number and rang me straight away even though i am in Scotland.
He said there must of been road works at the time but at least 10 reviews where just the same,he offered to put me in the back of the hotel, which one person's review had already mentioned,so i went prepared with earplugs, yes everything is true what people have said but i could sleep through all,i never had to use the earplugs and i am a very light sleeper.
There was one incident at the bar, after waiting 10 minutes to be served, i had to call someone at reception for service, he was busy so he called a coleauge, i ordered a cocktail for my daughter then he started to study the bar list each time he went into the fridge, cut up a mouldy lemon in half put it in the glass, missed out all the ingredients apart from a little Malibu and pineapple juice, so i asked what are you doing he said YOU DON''T RESPECT ME I AM NOT A BARMAN YOU HAVE TO RESPECT ME that was it for me, got up told him i was not paying for the drink, told reception i will be telling the manager about this and all he done was laugh.
I never got to see the manager i honestly don't think he would of bothered anyway.

I suprised my husband for his 50th Birthday with a week end trip to Paris. We both got a suprise when we seen our room (005). It was very very small, it had no window just a glass door with a curtain. The bed also was a little on the small size. The room was clean, but had little storage space no drawers so we had to use our suit case. The breakfast was just okay we had to queue both mornings as the hotel was full.
The location was great just beside a metro line, and there was lots of shops nearby. The hotel had no tea/coffe making facilities so if you like a cuppa take a small travel kettle. The walls are very thin and you can hear water and toliets flushing.
Word of warning when we arrived at the hotel there was an advertisement for shuttle taxis back to the airport. The price was advertised as ?16 Euro each with maxium of 2 persons travelling. We confimed the price with the receptionist, however on arrival at GDA the price on the meter was ?54 euro. We were very upset at this. DONT FALL FOR THIS!!!. Overall the hotel was okay for the two days. I will be back to this beauitful city, however at a different hotel.
