Clean, basic, functional, spacious. And the location couldn't be more perfect. If you want a full service luxury hotel, go elsewhere - and be prepared to pay! If you want a decent hotel in a superb location at a relatively modest price (by Zurich standards) - this is the place!
Get location, even better service

Had a great stay, the staff were extremely welcoming, the rooms were clean and the hotel is in a good location - very accessible to the city centre. Can get a bit noisey at night, but overall we had a great stay.

As stated in nearly all posts, the location cannot be beat. After that, things slide dramatically.
The lobby consists of two chairs and an internet station. The restauant is a Japanese one, there is no bar.
Breakfast was served in the Japanese restaurant and was slightly above standard.
We had a "suite" which was quite large, situated right on the corner. With the windows closed, it was alright...I would not want to have to stay there during the summer.
As stated before, the halls were terrible-very institutional.
Bathroom was a disaster--a high tub with a half glass "enclosure." A short person or an elderly person would have an awful time with the setup.
While we were staying there, they were switching out the older televisions to flat screens. No CNN or English programming was available at that time.
Location is the key selling point for this hotel, it is just passible in all other facets.
