Stayed one night with secure parking for a fortnight. Paid extra for the signature room which had been recently refurbished. Clean enough but TINY in size, absolutely ZERO storage space for cases.
Heating very noisy and kept me up most of the night. Any damage to your vehicle in the secure car park will only get repaired if it is reported when you pick up the car BEFORE leaving the car park , unfortunately I found this out to my cost.

Stayed on the 10th january as a stopover on way to glasgow airport. 8 in our party. We dined in the restaurant. It was delicious. the staff were lovely and nothing was a hassle to them. We had two family rooms which were adequete for our needs. comfy beds. transfered to airport next morning which was fine. On our return to pick up the car after our holiday we were picked up at the airport by the worst driver in the world!! he went over the speed bumps as if they were not there and then proceeded to take calls on his mobile phone. WE TOLD HIM TO PUT IT DOWN. HE THEN TOOK ANOTHER CALL!!!! This would be the only gripe we had. we would definately go back, as long as the driver was given a few driving lessons........

arrived at this hotel , could not get a parking space , outside of building was like the bronks. went into reception and they could not confirm that we had booked. we had paid in advance so did have our receipt with us. no appolligy's. got to our room absouloute disgrace litter everywhere, cigarette butts in ashtrays, no towels in the bathroom. Went to the bar the night of the tribute act and i asked for a bottle of wine at the table was told it was only sold by the glass other tables had bottles of wine, my partner went too the bar and they immediately served her a bottle of wine for the table during the night at the bar I asked for one pint of heavy and was told by foreign bar staff that they did not sell beer got a diiffernt drink and handed him 20 punds and he gave me change of ten pounds I complained but my complaint fell on deaf ears when i asked too speak too senior management the son of the owner who spoke to us like dirt and threatend too throw us out the hotel if we objected any more about being shortchanged and called us liars. went back into the tribute night when we came out we spoke too another member of staff who couldnt appoligise for the managemets behaviour and said it was an ongoing complaint in that area with the managers son. but we where promised a phonecall and a refund and never recieved it . so my suggestion is keep well back.

We stayed one night here after attending a function in the hotel. It was cheap but that's about the best I can say...
We arrived in the dark and had great difficulty finding a car park space - most of the spaces seem to be reserved for those going off on holiday via the nearby Glasgow airport.
Check in was ok although they had great difficulty finding our booking. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the front of the hotel. It was a double bedded room in what has to be the smallest room we've ever stayed in. Two people couldn't move around the room at the same time. We only had an overnight bag - I'd hate to have to stay with a suitcase - there was nowhere to put it!
Whilst the rest of the hotel decor was a bit dated and tired looking the room wasn't too bad and the bathroom looked as though it had been refurbed recently. However our room hadn't been properly cleaned from the previous guest with both bins in the room still contining rubbish - even sanitary towels in the bathroom bin. Eugh! We complained to reception but by the time we left the following morning it still hadn't been emptied.
Breakfast was ok at £9.95 for the buffet. The food was just ok and the selection wasn't great. The wait staff were very poor - ours couldn't have appeared more unhappy to be there.
We won't be back.

The Normandy was close to where we had to be and cheap, but that's about all I could say in it's favour. Had to stay 3 nights - no time off for good behaviour.
The double bedded room was the smallest I've stayed in, with totally inadequate storage space. (Worse even than budget Paris hotels, but they at least have some style).
Was woken every morning at 5 by the symphony laid on by the central heating system. I only had the breakfast once, toward the end of the time slot. The cooked food was bad, mostly dried up from being on the hot plate too long, or stone cold from not being on a hotplate. A much better breakfast was to be had at a supermarket's instore eatery at the nearby Braehead shopping centre
Parking - which a lot of people going on holiday from the nearby airport seem to use in conjunction with a one night stay makes for another unforgettable Normandy moment.
Abysmal.
I don't know if the staff treat you to a bit more information if you're leaving your car long term, but for us staying 3 nights it was a case of hunt the space every night. Provision of space is totally inadequate, mostly ended up in the disused (and therefore pitch black and uninviting) industrial units' car park spaces that they seem to have broken into. Saw the attendant once, and that was only when he told me where I should'nt park.
Best plan - bulldoze it flat and start again.
My future visits to the area - stay somewhere else that has space for guests and their cars.
