VITS Mumbai is an environment friendly 4 Star Businessmen's Hotel and the first of its kind in Asia. It is an environment friendly Hotel not just in operational practices followed but also in the values used during construction stages. The hotel was built with cement called PPC - Portland Pozzalana which has 15-20pct fly ash and also the portlant slag cement. Bricks are used of extruded hollow cement. All wood is made from exterior grade of article board and made of the by product of bagasse. The plumbing is the Geberit concealed cistern which uses only 6 and 3 litres of water.
