Booked this room on WOTIF.COM and looking forward to staying in a nice hotel that we were going to be paying 1600 bht and worth5000 well it stinks and is so old and shabby it's stuck in the 70's with no tea and coffee and cheap and nasty furniture. Also had a women screaming like a banchi at 1 am at her boyfriend??????
Good choice for Sukhumvit area

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at the Windsor Suites the first week of June. It turned out to be an excellent value, and we would highly recommend it for travelers interested in staying in the Sukhumvit area of Bangkok. It is far enough away from the main road to be quiet, but it is less than a 10 minute walk to both the BTS (Skytrain) and MRT (subway).
We stayed in a tower suite, and found it to be very nice. We appreciated the "suite" aspect of having a separate bedroom and (tiny) living room, since one of us is more of a morning person than the other.

We stayed five nights at this hotel in May 2008. There are two buildings, the older and cheaper Windsor hotel (where we stayed the first nights) and the new very nice building, Windsor Suites.
The rooms in the old building were ok. Nice and clean, nothing to complain about. The rooms in the new building were spacious and comfortable with large beds, bathtub and showercabin.
The hotel buffet is very ordinary but good, perhaps a little overpriced for Thailand. Very good service, friendly and helpful staff. There is a beautiful pool area and a small fitness center on the 14th floor.
The hotel is located near Sukhumvit road and the area feels safe. There are two BTS stations only 5-10 min walk away.
We really enjoyed our stay at Windsor suites hotel and we would definately stay here again.

They've done a nice job of sprucing up the hotel lobby and open areas. It appears most of the rooms have been renovated, they're still working on some floors.
The swimming pool is nice, the service throughout the hotel enthusiastic and helpful.
The suite rooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. Two televisions is a real plus.
The fitness center is labeled with a private name and is an additional charge. It doesn't seem anything special, probably should be included in the room at a nice hotel such as this one.
Parking is convenient.
The breakfast buffet has lots of food but most of it is pretty nondescript. Almost as if they've taken a special effort to make it ordinary. Too bad, nice restaurant and friendly service. The coffee is pretty bad.

We stayed at the Windsor for 3 nights and didn't regret it. The rooms are big with a small lounge and a marble bathroom, which looked a bit dated. Everything was clean and well maintained. The free form pool was empty most of the time with plenty of sun chairs. We had a breakfast included in the cafe in the lobby. There were plenty of choices like in most 4-5 star hotels in Bangkok. The cafe in the lobby had an afternoon special with tea/coffee and a piece of cake for 150B.
The location is OK near Sukhumvit Rd. Unfortunately Soi 20 is right in the middle between two Skytrain stations. It's 5-10min walk ether way.
There is a cheap and very good restaurant near the back entrance on Soi 19. After exiting the door walk to the left. It's shortly before you reach the Rembrandt Hotel next to the massage place.
