We were there two nights. June 20 & 21, 2006. The place is clean, the staff friendly and the restaurant fair. The only bad part for us was that my daugther got sick, the reception recomended a medical doctor who was a real quack! Unidad Medica Turistica y Familiar. That was a real scam! Do NOT go there under any circumstances! If you happen to get sick in Mexico City the Cruz Roja is a better option.

We stayed at the Hotel Sevilla for 2 weeks, approx. 2 years ago. The room was huge (two queen sized beds, a seating area w/ couch and chair, coffee table) and very comfortable.
The best part was the service we received. The waiters in the small restaurant got to know us and even tried to anticipate our order. They prided themselves on meeting our every wish. The front desk personnel and the general manager made themselves available to us at all hours.
On my next visit to Mexico City, the Hotel Sevilla is where I'll stay.
