I stayed here just for a couple of days. I had a suite, so I guess it might have been larger than standard suites. It was an excellent option, all marble and very, very comfortable. The entire hotel is new, three years I guess. The lobby is well appointed, the restaurants are very good. Breakfast was very complete.The hotel has two or three restaurants. The one at the roof is very visited as it is a revolving restaurant. The food at this one was good, not excellent. It has a not very large but very nice pool. The hotel is well located. It is in front of the only (new) and very nice) shopping centre in Barranquilla.The area where the hotel is is very safe and nice. However, a 15 minutes car ride and you can start noticing Colombia´s terrible poverty. The service is very good, staff very attentive. I would definitely say this is the best option you have when you travel to Barranquilla. Go ahead!

I want to say that I stayed at the Dann Carlton a couple of weeks ago and it was wonderful. Everything was clean, the attention was superb and the food was really yummy. The pool is really nice and we just had a great time staying there - God, I love Colombia! The only thing I didn't really care for was the restaurant at the top of the hotel, if I remember correctly is called El Giratorio. The food is very american and why the heck do I want to eat american food while I'm in Colombia? There is just no logic to that. Anyway, I recommend this hotel to anyone, it was really safe and is right across from a mall, so the location is also excellent.

Dann Carlton Barranquilla is amazing. I'm here for two weeks and things have been great! The hotel is perfect and the staff is amazing! The hotel is located in a great part of town and is close to all things worth doing and seeing in BAQ. You will need to speak spanish in Barranquilla...especially for taxis and such. Sin embargo...the hotel staff will bend over backwards to see to all your needs if you don't speak spanish. Right across the street there is a great mall with a food court and full-service grocery store. The hotel has an excellent pool area and the food is decent for hotel food. On the top floor of the hotel is a rotating restaraunt. The hotel is wired for excellent and affordable internet as well as many cable television channels. It's like being in the USA! You will need to travel for one hour to Cartagena & Santa Marta to get to a real beach. The Port of Columbia is just 30 minutes away where the Magdalena River meets the Carribean Sea. This is by the far the best hotel I've stayed in as an American tourist who's traveled to Spain, England, Canada, and the Bahamas. Barranquilleros are very friendly...

El hotel esta de lujo, aparte de que esta en frente del centro comercial buena vista, por lo que es muy facil acceder a todos sus servicios , ademas el restaurante rotatorio q ofrece el hotel donde se puede apreciar la vista a barranquilla en casi su totalidad... quede maravillada con este hotel, si algun dia vuelvo a barranquilla no dudare ni un momento en acceder a este hotel nuevamente
