I heard about the Knutsford Court through a neighbor who had recently stayed there while attending a business conference. She suggested staying there so I requested this hotel when speaking with my travel agent. I was extremely impressed by how nice and friendly the staff was. Especially the front desk and bellhops. I felt as though they took good care of me. The hotel itself is very pretty, with several gardens and a pool. The price of the rooms is very reasonable. For a hotel in Kingston, the facilities were great for tourist who are there for purpose other than business. My husband and I made a trip to Hellshire beach and other areas in and around Kingston. Overall, the Knutsford Court Hotel was more than I expected

I stayed at the Knutsford Court Hotel recently; I was there for a conference. The facilities were great. This was my first stay at the hotel. I liked the garden atmosphere and my room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Internet connection was good and fast.
If I ever have to visit Jamaica again I will definitely be staying at the Knutsford Court.
We all went to dinner at the Market Place. I must do if you visit Kingston.

The Knutsford Court is a moderately priced hotel in New Kingston, serving mostly business travellers and some... um, optimistic (OK, deluded) tourists. Deluded because there's nothing touristy in the vicinity.
The rooms are, as others have pointed out, in need of updating. The carpet especially looks like it's seen better days. My room was otherwise clean, though, and the bathroom quite comfortable. No problems with water temperature or pressure, though the towels were indeed very small. There is no elevator to the 2nd floor of the wing we stayed in, and when we inquired about changing rooms - we had equipment that we needed to store every night - we were told that ground-floor rooms were more expensive. The hotel did provide storage in the office area, though.
The hotel in general -- lobby, dining room, grounds (including a pool and a lovely courtyard) -- is in much better condition than the rooms. The continental breakfast (included in the price) is adequate, and ? la carte breakfast options are also available.
Disappointingly, internet access is US$10 a day. There is wireless in the lobby, courtyard and dining room, and rickety ethernet connections in the rooms. Mine worked intermittently - I had to keep re-connecting the cable. If you're going to charge, surely you can afford to install wireless throughout the hotel. There is also a business centre in the lobby area, where internet access is $2 for 15 minutes.
On the positive side, the staff were universally friendly and helpful. No complaints at all there.
For US$105 a night - plus $10 for internet - it's not a bad deal. But it could be a lot better.

Couple months ago i and my partner visit the knutsford court hotel kingston 5 jamaica .we only book for a night. first the room was dusty the ice bucket was not clean to my suit , ok we decide to over look those problems, we were just spending 1 night. so we went to grab a bit and return to our (not so clean )room. My patner decide to open the balcony door to get some fresh air while eating (which was not a good idea) then we discover the door could not open and its not closed. I personal call the front desk and report the matter the F.D agent she answer saying some one will be there soon,
Ihave waited 10 minutes i call again ,this time she answer like she was tired with me but i still waited (oh my god) i call 2 timesafter that still no one to fix the problem. i went in person to the agent (she) then said oh the maintenance will be in tomorrow. i told her i've look on the door it cant fix it need changing. i was standing there for the past 5 mins no one answer me. i went back to my room pack and leave and they got the nurves to charge the $141.92 off my cc card for 3 hours of hell. please take a good view before u take your keys , sorry you are then on your own. The following morning we went and spoke to the( they say) manager he
offer us a refund of $100, so sadly they did toke the $141.92 off the cc ( cant be trusted)
