The staff was very courteous and helpful. The hotel is fairly new and tastefully decorated. They had a nice display of native history. The room was clean and very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel,

Having stayed in a lot of Best Western establishments this one really stands out. Very clean rooms (the whole hotel smelled nice), wonderful free breakfast buffet with all the trimmings. And the price was very fair - among the cheapest we have experienced during our 2 weeks travels in Montana. And Havre is a funny town - don't forget to visit the underground city!

Before moving to Havre I had a number of occasions to stay at the Great Northern Inn. Since moving here this winter, the GNI is where I suggest that guests stay when then come for meetings. The rooms are spacious, quiet and very clean. The staff is very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The free breakfast is an excellent deal and is well stocked with much more than just donuts and pastry like many continental breakfasts serve. The pool/spa are very clean and well maintained and the bar serves Montana's Moose Drool on tap -- excellent! You are within walking distance of pretty much everything in Havre. And, although on the main drag, the rooms do not suffer in any way from street traffic noise. We also had guests use the RV park facilities there. Again another A+ for that facility too. Thumbs up all around!
