Modern hotel, situated in the heart of Cdad Real, ideal for shopping or night life. Very modern, well equiped rooms, very pleasant staff, a very comfortable stay. For couples looking for a city break, this is ideal, with good shops just outside the hotel door and nightlife, restuarants only a stones throw away.
Only draw back is taxi's can not come directly to hotel door as it is situated in a pedestian precinct. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. I will return!

Arrived to the hotel, I found that confirmation of ------- (made 2 days in advance) of room available for 2 nights is not right. The hotel didn?t have free room for the first night. The hotel agreed that money has been charged already. They forwarded me and my wife to less quality hotel for 1 night without returning difference of money.I left the complaint to Hotel Alfonso X with regards to the situation. But The hotel hasn?t replied me at all.
Nice city centre hotel

Nice hotel in the central pedestrian area of Ciudad Real. Very friendly staff. Modern bedrooms with normal comforts. Nice façade. Even though Ciudad Real is a fairly drab nondescript city, it is worth a visit for the friendliness of its people and its good food. Good starting point for visiting the La Mancha area. Even though 200 km from Madrid, only 45 minutes on the frequent AVE (Spain's high-speed train).
