This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It has the most interesting architecture: perhaps art deco modern? It is a fun place. The rooms are very large and modern as well as very clean. The people at the reception desk are very helpful. The first time there I said that the dinner menu looked great and the receptionist said no we really must get out and see the town and possibly eat up in the old town area. (Which we did, yum!) The included breakfast is fabulous with very good service. If you go here be sure you have a map of some kind. It can be difficult to find and asking directions requires speaking some Italian.

I stayed overnight after a late flight from Newcastle and had booked it through Ryanair.I was with my little boy so I needed a hotel where I felt safe. First of all the room smelt of smoke. They say they have baths with hydromassage but it obviously hasn't worked for years and the tiles had dirt inbetween them,
My little boy didn't go to sleep until 2.30 in the morning and as we had a long journey the next day we needed to rest.At 8 am the next morning the cleaning lady opened the door shouted permesso and closed it again. She gave me such a fright. When I opened the door and asked her why she did it she insisted I should have put the do not disturb sign up.I have worked in hotels for many years and the do not disturb sign is for if you are not leaving and don't want your room cleaned. She spoke to me as if I was stupid saying more or less " yeah ok you are right".
The breakfast was ok and the room spacious although the balcony hadn't been swept for a long time. I really did expect more from a chain like UNA HOTELS.

Stayed at this hotel on 30.9.2007. Checked in late and as we had a flight from Bergamo Orio Al Serio at 6.30 am the next morning, we checked out very early on 1.10.07. Hotel is out on a limb with a small sprikling of nearby facilities (shops, restaurants etc). Airport is 3km (5 mins) away. The cost by taxi (early morning) was €20 which I thought was a bit steep. Our room was huge and very clean with an extra large king-size bed which was very comfortable. Bathroom (all marble fittings) had a shower which doubles as a sauna (though I was too tired to figure out how it worked!). Checked out too early to sample breakfast but desk clerk kindly provided us with coffee and snacks to keep us going.
Not bad for an overnighter pre or post flight but other than this I wouldn't stay here if I were visiting Bergamo especially if I was reliant on public transport.
NB: ** Not easy to find if you are driving **
