Overall a nice, clean hotel and a good break from the hostels I'd been in. However, we were charged for things that we did not take/eat in the mini bar without even being shown the bill at the end of our stay. The staff was unapologetic and displayed very little knowledge of customer service. If you're planning on staying here in the future, keep track of everything that you spend (or don't spend), and don't expect an overwhelming sense of hospitality from the staff.

This was the second time my wife and I have stayed at this hotel. The first time was 9 years ago. This time we took our teenagers with us and stayed in a quad room. The room is adequate for four people and the beds were ok. One of the beds was a cot which my daughter did not like. The room was clean and so was the hotel. The contenental breakfast had the traditional Eurpoean flair. The staff at the reception desk made this stay extra special. They were very friendly and helpful. They spoke english and provided us with great information on how to get to our destinations with ease. Reda was extra special and the whole family liked him. This hotel is close to the metro, Arc de Triomphe and Champs. It is an easy 20 minute walk to Eiffel Tower or 6 minute metro ride and 5 minute walk. It is also easy via the metro to get to the other destinations you want to see. For four people, quad room, location and staff made this a great experience this time with our kids.

We stayed three nights at the Elysees Ceramic hotel on our first stay in Paris. First, let me tell you what a wonderful location it is for both sight seeing and shopping! With the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the street, what more could you wish for? The staff were both friendly and happy to help with any questions we had regarding both our stay at the hotel, and activities in and around the city. My only hang up would be that we had to hand our keys in at the reception every time we wanted to leave the hotel. I'm not sure if this is normal in continental European hotels, but I found it to be quite strange for my personal past experience. However, this is a tiny matter - it doesn't compare to all the positive things I have to say about this place! The room was reasonably sized, with a nice clean bathroom. Decor was slightly dated throughout the hotel, but the bed was comfortable and there was the added bonus of a mini bar - good for storing a bottle of water or two!! My partner and I loved our romantic stay there, and look forward to our next visit to the exciting French capital.

We were pleasantly surprised to have a triple room where we could actually move around! The room was huge by French hotel standards,,,, The hotel is small and quaint and not fancy but the location and front desk staff make it a gem Located approximately 3 blocks from the Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe makes for an ideal location The best part: the morning and daytime front desk staff! The 3 men who staffed the desk for the 4 days we stayed could not have been more helpful and polite. I would definitely stay here again just because we were treated so kindly and if you do not want to go to the breakfast room they will deliver your breakfast to you.....

Just spent 5 nights at the Ceramic with friends and it was great! The staff was friendly and made every attempt to communicate with us in English. They provided suggestions for restaurants (that were good), helped with directions and called taxis when needed. The room was clean and a decent size. The locations is good...located between 2 metro stops with plenty of places around to eat. I would definitely stay there again...it was a great experience for my first trip to Paris.
