The hotel is very well located and quite cheap but unfortunately those are the only good things.
The room was small, the bed was very small, there was not table (I had to work on my laptop sitting in the bed) and when I was there the air-conditioning (heater) was broken.
The toilet is also very small and the shower was broken, I had a tough time trying to shower.
The breakfast is in a cellar and the quality is poor.

We booked the hotel via Lastminute.com
The hotel is on the green line [12] i think. Its about 20 min from the Euro star station. We got a zone 1 and 2 ticket.
For first timers in Paris pls note that the tram doors don't open automatically you have to push the handles up..in order to activate the automatic door release. We found this out the hard way when we got left looking dum on an almost deserted platform. Best thing is to hang around seasoned travellers and locals and observe how they put their travel cards through the gates at the station and board the trains/trams. Also quite a few stations didn't have attendants so be careful your party don't get seperated as we almost did. Not sure how other travellers dealt with this?
The hotel itself is a short walk from the station, cross the tram tracks and its on one of the side streets.
We went in the middle of a heat wave and were advised that there was no fan available as we had not pre-booked one.... so my advice to you is always pre-book stuff directly with the hotel, in the receptionists words 'online bookings are made through agents that promise facilities they may not have just to make a commission' so be warned. We got the fans in the end.
Rooms were clean, beware of room 801, it sleeps 3 but as its on the ground floor, in the hot weather opening windows might make female travellers slightly anxious. We made a fuss and were moved.
Also i was told that i owed money for using the phone 30euroes, not sure how they worked this out, as i had not used the phone. Also check the fridge before you settle in, half a twix had been eaten in mine, i didn't want to make a fuss so i paid for it.... no one saw us to our rooms so i suppose it would have been hard to argue otherwise.
Breakfast was basic, but adequate, the staff did their jobs, my tv didn't work but after a day of sight seeing i really couldn't be bothered to watch it, besides the only free English channel was BBC news!
I enjoyed Paris and the hotel, would i stay there again... maybe not, its nothing to write home about and if we had found an alternative closer to town we wouldn't have stayed there.

Stayed for couple of nights but with one night (and the following morning) without hot water, in the hot summer.
Couldn't get hold of the hotal manager, had mobile phone switched off. No sense of compensation or even comfort. We think a simple phrase of "can't find the hotel manager, what can we do" is far from responsible and enough. That was the way we were treated. So make your own judgment.
In addition, the room is really tiny and noisy.
I have seen better budget hotels.

I got this hotel on Priceline, and will never use the site again because of it! I thought I picked a central location in Paris from the Priceline map, but when I got to Paris, I realized that this hotel is no where close to anything worth seeing in the town. I had to take a 25 minute metro ride everyday just to get close to any of the sights. To make matters worse, when I arrived at the hotel, they informed me that they had given my room away, because I had checked in too late! Even though I had told them weeks in advance that I would be arriving late. Of course, I had a heart attack, since I had pre-paid for the hotel on Priceline, and it was the night before the Tour De France finish in Paris, so there was not a spare room in the whole city. But the receptionists informed me that "I was lucky" because they had a room that had a broken door lock, that could not be given away, and he could give me that room! I of course had to take it. Then, if things could not get worse, I discovered that the room had no hot water. When I called the front desk, they said that the hot water was not working, and that no one would be there to fix it until Monday, and it was only Friday! We went the whole weekend with cold showers. I begged the manager to let me check out of the hotel, and to please refund the remaining nights, just so I could find a suitable place to stay, but he refused since I got the hotel on Priceline. It really made my trip to Paris a real headache. Do not use Priceline for hotels in Paris, because you are risking getting stuck with this hotel!
